Hallo folks! A&A is starting the RP Citations today! Every four months these will come around. This is not a competition, these are just little awards for the people on the boards, to give you all a chance to show how much you appreciate your fellow RPers (and you get nifty midgy-banners to put in your character apps and/or sigs!). We hope to get a response from everyone; your vote matters!

A checklist for you when you vote:

• Read the RP forums!
• Decide your votes!
• PM your choices to Mjinga or Etcetera!
• Under no circumstances post your choices in this thread!

We will keep all votes confidential, to avoid you becoming embarrassed by the over-flow of affection from your fellow RPers if they were to find out you voted for them. You can also vote for a tie, but try to keep it to one or two possibilities.

We announce winners and runner-ups, and we expect YOU to vote! The people cited for excellence will be announced one week from today (if we get a vote from everybody sooner, then we'll announce sooner ).

Best Post:
Vote for the post you read and went “Wow” about, the one you feel is just overall spectacular. Specify what thread, which page, which post on the page, and who made it.

Funniest Post:
Vote for the post you read and laughed yourself silly over. Specify what thread, which page, which post on the page, and who made it.

Most Dramatic Post:
Vote for the post you read and felt the drama coming right off the page. Specify what thread, which page, which post on the page, and who made it.

Best Descriptive Post/Best Imagery:
Which post allowed you to see exactly what the character was seeing and really get into the mood? Specify what thread, which page, which post on the page, and who made it.

Best Dialogue:
Whose intra-post dialogue did you especially enjoy? Specify what thread, which page, which post on the page, and who made it.

Best Character Interaction:
Vote for two or more characters interacting together in a thread. Whichever interaction strikes you as the most realistic, natural, amusing, or whatever you judge by, pick the interaction that is overall best. Specify which characters in which thread.

Best Romantic Interaction:
Vote for the characters with the best romantic interaction, where you feel the love oozing from your screen. Specify which characters in which thread.

Best Antagonistic Interaction:
Vote for the characters with the best antagonistic interaction. Specify which characters in which thread.

OOC Citations
Most Active Member:
Vote for the member that you think is most active on the board. Note that admins and mods are excluded from this category; you cannot vote for them. Specify account-name.

Most Helpful Member:
Vote for the person who sent you the helpful PM, who answered your question, who helped you find a thread, or who in general was helpful. Specify account-name.

There's been an extension on the vote-time. One or the other of the admins or mod has been ill or otherwise unable to properly check stuff over the weekend and run-up days. Therefore, you all have until Friday to get your votes in, and the winners will be announced on Saturday. Happy voting!

And thanks to all you people who did vote already. We have some widely-dispersed votes; clearly everybody reads the board and loves everybody else.

Note: Posts made on or after the 21st of January are excluded from the selections, out of fairness for those who alread submitted their votes.
