Welcome to Affections and Affectations
...and to Lindeboshire! The time is the last quarter of the 19th century, and the place is a fairly large English city by the name of Lindebo. The people here, like in most cities, come in all shapes and variations.
A&A is a historical play-by-post roleplaying game for advanced to intermediate writers. If the Victorian era interests you, or if you enjoy writing realistic fiction, developing interesting characters and exploring people's differences, pretences and relations, you've come to the right place. Feel free to join and create your own storylines and plot-twists!

We could possibly do that, but why, when I assume the journal would be all in the same thread in the first place? I was thinking that we might want to subdivide the forum between Letters and Journals/Diaries, actually... I think I'll do that, h'actually. Unless you object, Kris? *prepares to change back* EDIT: Hmm, while I'm on the topic of the Nightstand Drawer, let me inform y'all that your fonts are not working, but appear as times new roman. Right now the only curly-font that works consistently is "font=cursive" or "font=script". I'm working on a tutorial on how to get the fonts to display properly. It's slow going, cos I have to learn how myself, first.

Well. Iiiiiisues here with that. Your fonts won't work on me comp, but they work on Sam Munro's comp just fine (thanks for helping me with this, btw, Doc).
She suggests that's because I haven't got them in my font library (which is true) but ones that I do have in my font library won't work either. Not sure if this is a Mac problem or what. v.v
Anyway, since they do work on hers if she has the font, but not if she doesn't, me gonna assume that for PCs, you just have to have the font for it to work.
Therefore, I institute a new rule: If you're gonna use a fancy font, give a link to where it can be downloaded.
Inna meantime, for us poor Mac-users (which is just Jess and I, I think) I'll keep looking for a solution.
