Welcome to Affections and Affectations ...and to Lindeboshire! The time is the last quarter of the 19th century, and the place is a fairly large English city by the name of Lindebo. The people here, like in most cities, come in all shapes and variations. A&A is a historical play-by-post roleplaying game for advanced to intermediate writers. If the Victorian era interests you, or if you enjoy writing realistic fiction, developing interesting characters and exploring people's differences, pretences and relations, you've come to the right place. 2 April 08 Hehe, okay, everything’s back to normal. Carry on as you were, chaps and chapesses. 1 April 08 - Board Event started. The Great Lindebo Fire is now burning down the city. See this thread for more information. 11 Jan. 08 - Yeah, seems we're back on track after Christmas hibernation. Lindeborough Castle Lindeborough Castle is placed upon a hill in the middle of Lindebo. It is the home of the Earl and Countess of Lindeboshire. It is very old and green plants grow up alongside its walls. The road up to the castle is adorned with hundred year old oak trees at both sides. |

Her Majesty's High Court of Justice, Lindebo Crown Court The Lindebo Crown Court is a tall building made of granite. Soaring marble columns front the place, and wide steps lead to the entrance. Inside, the ceilings vault high, criscrossing arched supports giving the feeling that the Law watches from on high. The Honourable Mr Justice Sir Wallace Vandenberg presides. |

Town Square In the middle of Kirk Street, not far from the river bend and in close view to the castle, lies a large, cobbled space decorated with fountains, statues and other ornaments. This is a where the great bazaars are occationally held, and otherwise just a popular place to meet and gossip. |

Kirk Street This is Lindebo's main street, always bustling with life. Shops, taverns, coffee-houses, hairdressers and little marketplaces line the street from the far southern to the far nothern end of the city. Whatever you're looking for, you can most likely find here. |
