THIS SITE ALLOWS CONSTRUCTIVE CANON CHANGES ALONG WITH CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT THAT MIGHT NOT BE SEEN BY THE DC PUBLISHERS. It seemed like not too long ago Arkham City was built in hope that Gotham will finally become a peaceful and tranquil place. It was years of waiting, just hoping that Arkham city would balance the scale between good and evil, protecting the innocent from the cruel. It was January 1st, 2033 when the Arkham Walls fell, exposing the rest of the city to the evil inside.

NORTH POINT
The north shore of the uptown section of gotham city. it's a district for a lot of work with docks and several educational establishments. the airport is just beyond the north river, but unaccessable by the citizens trapped in gotham city due to all the bridges being destroyed.

The large district in uptown closest to the south channel island close to the goat bridge. The heaviest amount of combat takes place just beyond the bridge where the resistance protects the few innocent people safe in gotham city from the inmates.

SOUTH CHANNEL ISLAND
the only intact way to get from old arkham into uptown. south channel island is an island in the queens river, connected by two bridges. the roxbury bridge leaks out of old arkham and on the north shore, the goat bridge spills out into uptown. this is considered one of the heaviest warzones because the resistance fight to prevent criminals from crossing over.

AMUSEMENT MILE
Amusement mile is run by the Joker. Part it keeps the old Gotham Amusement Park in tact, the other rotted businesses that surrounded it. Like all of Arkham this area is decaying as fast as the bodies are hitting the pavement.

BOWERY
This was one of Gotham's worst neighborhoods. It had more crime than one could bare with addition of extreme homelessness. Desperation within caused for a new need of jobs. Gotham tried to introduce them by bringing in attractions such as the museum.

The laborers use to call this their home. They worked hard to established a lot of Gotham's economic structure. Evil did cast it's shadow here, with warehouses, and other wondrous places to hide bodies and liars.

PARK ROW -- EAST END
As much hellish crime there is Park Row there is a lot of love. Catwoman is Park Row's most notorious thief but also her greatest protector. The area of Park Row has been extended now since Arkham City has been built. Solomon's Courthouse is located to the north.

FORT TYGER
Once the arkham walls fell, stripping tyger of all of their power. the organization that once reigned over Arkham City collected and kept their old headquarters as a base of operations, converting it into a stronghold. Very little people are welcome into TYGER HQ.

SUBWAY
This subway that allows for short transport from Bowery to Industrial District. The subway also gives entrance to Wonder City, which leads to other restricted area. Ninety-nine point nine percent of inmates do not know about this.

THE NARROWS
Arkham's old property that still has the abandoned facility of Arkham Asylum. Taboo and a lot of bad vibes, but the small island in the center of uptown and old arkham holds a base for the bat family, probably a haven for a lot of the other heroes.

NEW DOWNTOWN GOTHAM
Gotham has a new downtown area. This area includes many stables that used to be there. Some buildings are still under construction but the city is returning to life.

Gotham Village has been extended. It's just not home to the Bohemian members of Gotham and their market place. The village houses the poorer members of Gotham. There is still a little crime but nothing major at the moment.

THE OLD QUARTER
Established with Gotham’s founding, the Old Quarter has endured and survived throughout all of Gotham’s trials. Arkham Nation, hopefully, won’t be any different. Narrow alleyways, wide cobblestone roads, and grand buildings stand out against the glass and steel of the surrounding modern Gotham.

The largest area of downtown that holds most of the historical, educational and bohemian aspects of gotham city. once the center of tourist attraction, now decays from the chaos in arkham city. it's a large space to easily get lost in, but explore the old remnants of a city that once used to be.

SANDY HOOK
The military were able to spare one time island off of the mainland of Gotham City before the barriers went up. Sandy Hook has the ONLY intact bridge leading to the rest of the safe gotham shores across the mainland now deemed arkham nation. Sandy hook is the only way in or out of arkham nation into the outside world, but is heavily populated by military forces

This area remains untouched and now expands to include Liddell Hill. All of the wealthy people of Gotham live here. Crime tends to be at an all time low . Here its always behind closed doors.

THE PALISADES
A large portion of housing and society outside the Gotham borders that is still intact and safe for citizens. A lot of the people remain undisturbed by arkham nation other than the news, or yearn for answers in the gated community: gotham heights, which holds the home of Batman, Bruce Wayne.

The beach lining the bay caters to tourists and kids that just want to go out and have fun. The beach along the boardwalk is a source of entertainment for all in Gotham City looking for a close get away
