Entering New Terra

A kitten, around the age of four months, quickly put one small paw in front of the other; trotting. Her brown pelt didn't really stand out, which was a plus for her. She also bore light gray splotches, but that didn't bother her. She tentivly(sp?) sniffed at a small branch that was sticking out, then sat down. The weather was warm, leaving the she-kit in a good mood. She had just left the other forest that she lived in to find a new life. Cassie, as she was called, was born with a brother. When they were two weeks old, they had found themselves alone. Their mother had left them. So from that point on, Cassie and her brother lived alone, as tiny kittens. When the turned two months old, they split up, and Cassie lived by herself in a small forest. Now, at four months old, she left that forest, to start a new life. Cassie knew she was too young to have a mate or kittens, but she knew she could start over. That much was hope for her.

Captain creeped through the undergrowth, his white and black-spotted coat sticking out. His yellow eyes spotted Cassie, and he trotted over to her. "Hello pretty kitten! What are you doing out all alone in this forest?" Captain was a joker, and never missed an oppertunity to be funny.

Cassie still stayed seated, flicking her tail absently, more of in boredom. Her keen hearing senced Captain coming, and she turned her head in his direction just as he appeared. Because of Cassie's history, most of her skills were far more developed and strong than a grown cat's. Cassie smiled tentively when Captain said "pretty kitten". "I've been living on my own for as long as I can remember," she said, "And I've lived in a forest my whole life. This one is just new to me, that's all."

She stood up, and circled Captain a couple of times before sitting back down. In a way, he reminded her of herself; always trying to be amusing.

Captain had sit down, and was eyeing Cassie. She was very small, but he knew that this tiny kitten was not one to mess with. He nodded at what she said. "Oh. Okay," he meowed. Captain stayed seated while Cassie circled him, then stood up.
