21/7: The day the 'bombers' had no bombs Superficially, at least, the similarities between the events of 7th July and 21st July were frightening. But, on the 21st, the 'bombers' had no bombs (i.e. no secondary explosives), just detonators and their intention was only to 'scare people' as part of a 'demonstrative act': "The jury were told a further charge of conspiracy to cause explosions likely to endanger life, faced by each man, was now being left off the indictment." - BBC Forum Led by: J7 Admins
22/7: The Murder of Jean Charles de Menezes In the aftermath of the murder, a cascade of misinformation and lies from the very top down. From Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Ian Blair to the trigger-happy plain-clothes shooters identified only as "carrying a long-barrelled weapon", the actions that day have been exposed as a cover-up of the events that resulted in the extra-judicial execution of an innocent man. "Liquid Bombs" Plot, Arrests & Trial The 2006 transatlantic aircraft plot was an alleged terrorist plot to detonate liquid explosives carried on board several airliners travelling from the United Kingdom to the United States and Canada. At the trial the jury did not find enough evidence to convict anyone in connection with the conspiracy to detonate liquid explosives aboard transatlantic flights. Forum Led by: J7 Admins
