In 2009, the world was shocked to learn that magic was in fact real. It lived among them in the form of the Fae, a race that many had never believed were real for centuries. Public outcry was loud and varied, and the Fae rulers elected that those of the Fae that had made themselves known to the humans should volunteer to live on Reservations, much like the Native Americans. However they were followed into the public eye by first Werewolves, then Vampires. The human race is reeling. there are still several species reluctant to come forth and they don't like the attention the others are drawing. Tempers are at a fever pitch. What side are you on?

The 25th Annual River of Fire Festival
The 25th Annual River of Fire festival at Columbia Park in Kennewick Washington will be full of fun activities for the whole family! On July 4th there will bounce houses, commercial vendors, food and crafts booths, and fireworks launched from a barge in the middle of the Columbia River. The day of festivities will begin at 9:00 am and end at 10:00 pm with a fireworks display. The cost is $7 per carload to get into Columbia Park.

Independence Day Car Show
There will be a registration table for those who want to per-register. Bring your car, truck or motorcycle and enjoy the evening with great 50-60's music along with your favorite drink and great food.
Chris and Phil are preparing a special BBQ outside just for this evening.

River Boat Booze Cruise
Looking for a fun night on the river, with good drinks and live music? Look no further! July 23rd, from 7pm to 12am, at the South docks next to the seafood restaurant, River Joe's, we'll be launching our third annual River Boat Booze Cruise. Tickets cost $120 per person, and include the open bar, and dinner. Live music is free, and there's a discount for those who stay the night at the Hilton on the river. Must be 21 years of age, or older to buy a ticket.

Christmas in July
In the Kennewick event center, there's a huge Christmas extravaganza where vendors from all over the U.S. come to display their collection of Pipka Santas, Luxor ornaments, Department 56 houses, and various other Christmas oriented decorations.
This is also where you can post your character giving presents to the special people in their lives. Everyone loves receiving presents, and Christmas in July is the perfect time to splurge on people just because you can! Please mark if you are or aren't at the event in your thread description.
