Hey yeah to all Scouts out there, a new year brings new challenges to us all. We have some important administration information and instructions for those eager to attain the highest award for a Scout. So read on and find out more:

For those aspiring to reach this goal at some point in the future, it’s good to know some of the administration procedures behind the process of becoming a candidate for the President’s Scout Award ( PSA ).

For all those Ventures whom have completed their Venture Cord, it’s time for each and every one of you to register for the PSA Candidacy and “Be Prepared” for the assignment of a PSA Project.






This PSA Project will be assigned once registration is complete and it will be expected to last up to 6 months. Prospective candidates will need to submit their PSA Candidacy forms on any of each date in order to be registered.

Should a submission of forms be made after the specified dates, the application will be transferred over to the next application date. The forms can be acquired directly from the SSA website ( www.scout.org.sg ).

The following dates will be the key registration deadlines per quarter of 2006
Registration Dates:

1. February 4th
2. May 6th
3. August 4th
4. November 4th


Do note that the registration and project fee is at $10.00. Payment must be made and a receipt be produced for the application to be complete. Applications must be made in original copies. Submissions via fax and emails will be turned down.
