Effy was about five when Joe and Charlette Sawyer (their parents) vanished. She may have started receiving the training from her father (which was basically him giving his kids a weapon, telling them to defend themselves, and then beating the crap out of them for about thirty minutes) though it's likely she remembers little to nothing of it. She was mostly raised by Jim and Alphonso, likely having to take care of Jeremy whenever Jim would go on a hunt. When she was about eighteen/nineteen and they were traveling she met a hunter and fell in love with him. Much to Jim's disapproval she ran away with him and got married. His name is up to you, though his last name is Bone. Whether he's dead, alive, divorced, whatever is also up to you. Ever since then Jim and Effy have had a very tense relationship, and haven't really spoken to each other in few years. What she's doing, even what she is, is all up to you as well. The PB I have up there is Charlize Theron, and unless you find another PB that totally rocks my socks I would prefer you to use her.

Jim and Effy's younger brother, Jeremy. His nickname Merry actually comes from Jim. While Jeremy was young Jim had an injured jaw which gave him a speech impediment, so instead of saying Jeremy he would say Merry. He is somewhere in the age range of twenty-seven to thirty years old. Merry was raised by Jim, Effy, and Old Alphonso, so he probably was more attached to Al. Jim is very protective of Merry because of how his father was, and doesn't tell him about their real parents. Merry has stuck with Jim through pretty much everything, even after Effy left. When the twins were babies and their mother, a witch, tried to attack Jim, Merry wound up saving his life. Middle name, personality, etc. is all up to you (though I kind of picture him being a calmer more patient person than Jim). The PB I have up there is Chris Pine, and it's pretty set in stone.

Jim's oldest son, and yes, he went there and named the poor boy Tom. Tom was born when Jim was twenty (making him about nineteen/twenty himself) as the product of Jim hooking up with a female hunter after she basically saved his life. Jim loves to tease Tom, and at times he's a bit tough on the kid, but he really wants to make sure he raises Tom better than his father raised him. When he was about five/six Jim fell in love with blonde, who had twins, and then later turned out to be a witch who tried to kill all but her children, but wound up getting her ass handed to her by Merry. How living the life on the road, being motherless, raised by his father and Uncle Merry, having to watch the twins for any sign of dark magic, etc. and how it all affected him is up to you. Personality and middle name up to you (though I kind of imagine him being a little quite and somewhat broody). The PB is Andrew Garfield, and it's set in stone.

Rosie and Al's mother was a blonde witch, powerful with black magic, who sold her soul to a demon and planned on stealing the souls of Jim, Tom, and Merry and then raising the twins to become powerful witches themselves. Jim spoils Rosie rotten because, well, she's the princess of the Sawyer family and it's not easy growing up in a home of all male hunters. She has magical blood in her, so Jim has kept a close eye on her and Al since they were babies. He's taught both of the twins really basic spells, like spells that any hunter in the world can use without having any magical bloodline at all. Her personality, middle name, and whether she has magical abilities is up to you. The PB is Dakota Fanning, and I'm pretty open with the PBs for the twins so long as they are blonde/strawberry blonde or red headed, and look at least a little similar to each other.
