THE YEAR IS 1942 AND THE WORLD IS IN THE MIDST OF WAR.

The Axis and the Allies bare their teeth at one another, both parties dangerous and increasingly destructive. Each has forces knocking at the other’s door, and, already, all European countries have suffered murder, starvation, and political and social distress. Victims know who they are, but they cannot hide from the all-seeing Axis eyes.

Nazi Germany, one of the leading players in this game of strategy, then produced what some see as a game-changer, and others see as an entirely new problem. Their scientists boasting some of the greatest minds of the century, certain officials agreed on a tactic that would both free space in their prisons, and set skilled men and women to Nazi use, against their own nations and families.

Some of it was sick experimentation, and the lives of many were sacrificed for the "cause."

The public is unaware, as of yet, as to what has caused the strange activity in both the Axis’ and the Allies’ nations. It is unusual, inconsistent, but damaging. Only the governments understand the truth about these activities, and those who can speak freely are beginning to ask what questions they can while keeping their throats whole.

Officials seldom explain the truth. They rarely tell the questioning media and concerned citizens what is truly running wild. The untold fact of this recent chaos is summarized in one word: Extras. It is a name given to the victims of Nazi experimentation within Prisoner of War camps, now seeing the light of day following the catastrophic break-out from Stulag Luft, spurred into action by the most powerful creature man could ever fear to encounter.

Not all escaped, but those who did and those who did not are all affected by the treatment that they received. No longer are their bodies as they once were, no longer are their minds the same as those they had possessed before entering captivity. They have abilities beyond their every imagining. Some have physical alterations, and others unseen, psychological potential. Dark, uncanny, volatile. They are strangers to themselves, weapons to some, and threats to others.

This phenomena would, one would think, cease any further experimentation, but now the Nazi scientists at fault know their capabilities, and now know what the proper uses for these power could be. The best of the best are being taken in, cut in to, modified, and turned into a supersoldier that could rival and Allied soldier who opposed them. Unfortunately, moles and keen observers have witnessed or heard word of these doings, and are sending information back home as fast as they can, so that the Allies can have their fair share of these superpowers.

The easiest way? Catch one of these so-called "Extras." Bring them home. Do it all over again.
