This is a tricky situation, because, as far as I'm aware, bisexuality does not come under any gender class, it's almost as dark as being gay was 50 years ago.
I believe that yes, bisexuality is a sexuality as the old mating ritual thing is the same for all "labels"(I hate labels too). It shouldn't be looked at in any other way. Perhaps in a way it is a choice, but it's not a wake up in the morning decision. These things happen during puberty, as the body begins to recognise it's orientation. People often fight it, as they've been brought up see that the thought they are now having is wrong. It's more a physical choice, more than a mental one, as the brain will go with what it understands.
I think that bisexuals take more of the burden of being so-called "different" because of the way they are, and are scorned a lot more now, than gays or lesbians. But there has to be a better way of describing this particular orientation than "Bisexual"
