My name is Marianne Simons.
You've heard of me, right?
I own my own fashion line, magazines, newspapers, I own a radio talk show, I've had twelve hospitals named after me, I run a series of department stores and I funded the building of a school in Sri Lanka. The Simons Foundation does that. It's the charity fun that I created in order to give money to poor people. Simons Inc. owns the fashion line, magazines, newspapers etc. It's a conglomerate. And it's mine.
As you no doubt know, unless you live on Mars or something, I'm running for Minister of Magic in the upcoming elections. And to show what's in store for all those who vote for me, I'm funding ten orphans through Hogwarts. Yeah, basically, I'm taking ten poor children and breathing life an opportunity into them. My own niceness shocks me. THAT is the light at then end of the tunnel for all of us. That is what awaits Britain: Happiness.
Okay, I'm quitting with the crap.
You aren't my supporter, so I won't try and sound like a cute little pussycat gone politician. This is a political move, and I don't care what they say, I'm doing it, because it's become conroversial and controversy wins votes. Hell, my daughter is going to Hogwarts. It can't be that bad. As always though, there are the difficult people out there trying to ruin it. This is a freakin' act of kindness, but do they see that?
No.
Well, some people do. Those ones who are going to vote for me. Which is about 50%, and all I need is 52%, which is where these little kids come in. You'd be surprised how many people want good for the world. I am the good in the world. No, hey.
I'm going to win these elections, just like I've won everything in life so far, from my graduation, to my degrees, to my marriage and children to my divorce and to my money.
I don't care what the sick little assholes out there think.
I'm a winner.

Marianne's funding the kids through school - all very well, except half the school's set against them and the other one thinks that Marianne is an angel, which she definitely isn't. Not that's she's evil or anything, but she's hardly a saint.
What people don't seem to get is that for Marianne life's a game, a casino, a gamble. She's the King on her chessboard and the other people are Pawns she's willing to sacrafice in order to not get check.
But if you gamble forever, it's only a matter of time before your luck runs out.
