[Emily Overturf]

Emily smiled as she led Ian down to the kitchens. Time to make this kid talk. Oh yes, he would talk. She let him sit down while some elves brough him towels and she went to get the cocoa.

Ian silently followed her down into the kitchens. When the elves handed him the towels, he took them silently, wrapping one around him and using the other one to harshly rub at his hair, after taking it down. After he was done with the towel on his hair, his bangs had falllen down and were just blinding him, they were still pretty wet too. So much for towel drying.

Emily came back with two cups of cocoa. "here ya go.'She said smiling as she set one down in front of him. She was happy that she now caried truth serum with her where ever she went. Came in handy, like times like these. She watched him carefully.

[Ian Reed]

"Thanks..." Ian mumbled. H etook a drink of the cocoa after a few minutes, allowing it to cool down a bit. He didn't want to burn his tongue...then he would hardly be able to taste the drink anymore. However, the cocoa did taste a bit funny, but he didn't question it.

Emily smiled and sipped her own. "So tell me, do you know Celia?"

[Ian Reed]

"Well.." Ina said.. "I don't think I've heard of her til like 10 minutes ago..."No, I honestly can't say I know her..." He nodded at that and looked around, setting the towel down in his lap and taking another drink.

[Emily Overturf]

Emily smiled slightly. "But what do you know about Death Eaters?"She asked casually. "Do you think they are cool? I mean, you are a Slytherin>"

[Ian Reed]

"Uh..I don't know. Being a death eater sounds cool. I don't really know much about them though. The most I actually know is they like...hurt people and stuff. " Ian looked around for a moment then looked back at Emily. "But it would totally be really cool to work under Voldemort or something"

[Emily Overturf]

Emily smiled and nodded at him. "I know..I share your feelings, I may be a Hufflepuff..but that's what I was...before..I never even thought of being like this..until..very much recently."

[Ian Reed]

Ian nodded a bit and sighed as he looked around hte kitchens. It had been a while sinc ehe went down there and he was just interested in what was around him. Much more than what was going at that moment, the conversation they were having. Not saying he wasn't interested in it, but it just wasn't fairly amusing.

So, he watched the house elves walk around for a while

Emily watched him a smile playing across her face. "So tell me about yourself."She said softly.

[Ian Reed]

"Well...er...I'm ....twelve" He looked back over at her for a second "I don't really know what to tell you..." He confessed, smiling uneasily.

Emily smiled. "Tell me about your hobbies..what classes do you like?" She smiled at him kindly though her eyes would not, or could not sparkle.

[Ian Reed]

"I like to draw.." He said quietly. "O and uh..I also like to construct random objects together for fun." Ian added smiling. He thought about the whole favourite classes thing. "Well, I'm particularly fond of ...er...Herbology...and uh..Charms. They're cool classes"

[Emily Overturf]

Emily nodded and smiled listening to him. Gain confidence, then start the real questions. She nodded and smiled. "You know, you can't have potions without Herbology."

[Ian Reed]

"Well..that is true" Ian agreed smiling. "Because of the whole ingredient used cor potuions and all" He shrugged a bit

Emily nodded smiling. Gain his trust, yes. That was what she was doing. Gaining his trust. She smiled at him and urged him to drink the cocoa while it was warm.
