[Katie Vonders]

Katie sat at a table a bunch of books around her. Death Eaters, spell books, metamorphamagi books, Vampire, Werewolf, Dark Creatures, everything she could get her hands on that had to do with dark things. She was really interested now. Skyther, a Death Eater!

How could she have been so naive? Who else was though? Was Celia? That's why she was teaching her Crucio and other spells. They wanted her to join them. But why? Why her? Why did they choose her? She pulled a book on Death Eaters closer to her and started to read.

She stared at the book and then glanced at a book on Metamorphamagi. She bit her lip and pulled it closer and pushed the other books away. She flipped through it and found a few references, to Vampires. Different colour hair only at night..red eyes. She took a deep breath and grabbed the Vampire book. She opened it and started to read.

[Helena Briser]

Helena roamed the library aimlessly, looking for any book to grab her attention. Instead a slightly familiar face from a long time ago, hidden behind a book. Helena crept closer slowly.

"Excuse me?..."she started, soundgind rude but polite at the same time. Oximoron...maybe..but liturate rules dont apply to Helena. "Have I met you before?" she asked, tone down her rudeness a bit. She wasn't quite sure why, but there was something about this....little....odd seeming...girl.

[Katie Vonders]

Katie jumped and almost hid behind her book. "Um..I don't..know."She said carefully setting the book down. It was almost as big as her and she was very very short. So short her feet still didn't touch the ground and she was 12 years old.

[Helena Briser]

"Geez...jumpy much?" Helena laughed slightly. Her bold personality allowed her to take a seat without it being offered to her. She examined the little girl across from her, knowing there was something about her...but she just couldn't put her finger on what.

"So...who..are you, again?"

If she had even met her, Helena surely didn't remember her name. Why, she barely remembered anyone's name anymore.

[Katie Vonders]

"I'm Katie."She said carefully. She looked up at her a bit uncomfortably. Expecially since her whole table was laid out with book about Vampires, Werewolves, Death Eaters, and other dark things. She looked up at her almost frightend.

[Helena Briser]

"Katie....Katie..??" Helena said, mostly to herself. "Well, Katie, I must say, I don't remember crap about you, but...my name's Helena." For the first time, Helena noticed what books where surrounding this girl, what she was reading.

"Interesting books ya got there sweetie." Helena said, turning on nosey mode. Either this girl was sticking her nose where it didnt belong, or she was really good at looking innocent. Helena scanned over the aray of books again, smirking at the one in the girl's hand.

"Research for class?"she inquired with a sly grin.

[Katie Vonders]

"you could say that."Katie said almost coldly. She was afraid and she didn't know why but this girl wasn't helping it. "Do you know Skyther?"She asked after a minute. She was staring at the book she had in her hands a bemused expression on her face.

[Helena Briser]

Helena had slightly lost interest in the girl and was watching a piece of fuzz float across the ground. She squinted at it, wondering why it was floating.

"blah..blah....blah...Skyther...blah..blah....blah"

Helena looked back at the girl so quickly,she almost gave herself whiplash. "Skyther?" Helena voice trembled slightly. "Obsessed much..oh shut up." Another internal argurement for Helena. Silly girl.

"Of course I know Skyther. Why do you ask?" Helena replied cooly, playing off her jumpyness.

[Katie Vonders]

"I uhh...met him a few days ago.."She said quietly and she started to rub her arm. She had taken off her robe and under her fingers you could make out a long, thin scar. She kept rubbing it uncertainly. "He uh..told me something yesterday..that..really...scared me."She said carefully.

[Helena Briser]

Helena looked over the girl's arm where she'd now placed her hand. Had he done that to her? Surely he had a reason.

"Where had you seen him?...Ahh...I mean...what did he say?"

[Katie Vonders]

"I don't think he wants me to talk about it..but he wants me to join him and I'm scared."She said shivering. She curled up in her chair. "And..I think some of my other friends are like him..like Celia.."She whimpered staring at the book in front of her. It was on Vampires, and had a paragraph that described exactly what he had done. She was rubbing her arm. It was a pretty old scar she had but she continued to rub it like it hurt.

[Skyther Lovales]

Skyther walked through the school and wondered where to go. He rubbed his eyes as he walked and hoped that he didn't fall over from exhaustion. He had only gotten 3 hours of sleep last night from his post. And it had been in a tree, not in the comfort of the common room.

"Dammit." He said slightly as he tripped over a random toy that was in the hall. He wished the person that had left that there would have been there at the moment. He kept walking and then a thought hit him. He might have been able to catch a few moments of sleep in the library while pretending to study. He turned around and walked quickly to the library.

As soon as he got to the library, he noticed that there was pretty much no one there. He walked to the end and sat down at a table pretty much hidden by shelves. He pput his head down and attempted to sleep. Just as he dozed off slightly, he heard the girl that he had been seeing so much of lately. Katie.

He looked up and wondered what she was doing here. he was now awake, but didn't feel like dealing with her. So he pulled out his wand and started making a dust fuzz float around the table that she was sitting at. Then he noticed Helena standing there, and wondered what She was doing in the Library.

He sat back as he put his wand away, and decided to listen to their conversation.

[Helena Briser]

"Join him? Celia? Hmm..."

Helena eyed the girl curiously, trying to scheme some tiny bit of finformation out of her. Skyther most likely hated her, although she didn't know why, so he was a hopeless cause to try and get anything from. The girl seemed tight lipped, even though Helena hand't questioned her much yet.

"So...what;s wrong with your arm? Did hedo that to you?"

Helena was horrible at trying to crack people; almost as bad as she was at coming up with smart come-backs. But hs ehoped the girl would...just ...do...or say...SOMETHING!!!

(9sorry its horrible. my writer's block is still getting me.

Katie watched her silently for a minute and then took a deep breath. "No..well..I don't know."She said slowly. "I...I seriously, don't know...everytime he comes near though.."She said slowly. "It hurts.."

[Helena Briser]

((wow...taht was almost worse than mine. XD))


Helena still eyed the girl closely as she spoke.

"Does it hurt now? Or only when he's around?"

Helena was lost. She would have never made a good muggle investigator..."horrible with questions...!"she critisized herself sliently. But it wasn't helping that this little thing was giving her nothing to work with.

[haha, oh shut up, I'm tired]

Katie looked around the library almost scared. "It usually only hurts when he's around, but it hurts now."She whimpered. "Maybe he's in the library."She said slowly. "But usually only if I see him it hurts...I..I don't know what that means...It scares me though."She said looking up at Helena. She looked down at the table and then sat back in her seat. "I don't know what to do, this is all so...so sudden."She whimpered. "I want to make him happy, but my whole body is saying 'think once for yourself Katie' but that only gets me more confused."She said looking up at Helena unhappily.

[Helena Briser]

"Maybe he's in the library."

Helena glanced around nervously to see if Skyther was, in fact, in the library. She didn't turn around though, so she didn't see him sitting behind them. She looked back at Katie and leaned back in her chair again. "Maybe your just thinking about him too much or something. I doubt he's anywhere around here. What would he be doing in the library anyways?" Helena treid to comfort the girl, even though she was slightly hoping Skyther was somewhere around. "I'm sure you'll figure something out."

[Katie Vonders]

She nodded silently. "I'm just so confused."She muttered and pulled her knees to her chest on the chair. She looked at her silently. "You wouldn't happen to know anythinga bout it would you?"She asked looking at her a bit eagerly. "Maybe something that could help me?"

[Helena Briser]

"Me?!?!" Helena remarked indignantly. "Why would I know anything about him?" she hissed.


After Helena spoke, she realized that Katie might not have been talking about Skyther. She looked around suspiciously, now senceing that something wasn't right.

Katie looked at her and almost cowered down in her seat. "Sorry."She whimpered looking at her. She looked at the book on the table in front of her afraid she had made her mad. That was the last thing she wanted. Was to make someone mad. Not right now, not when all this was happening. She couldn't have anyone mad at her.
