[Ian Reed]

Here we go again. Leaving the dorm. Ian made his way up from the dungeons and looked around. He was quite hungry. His body led him to the Great Hall while his mind was in a completely different place. He was going towards food, but really, his mind wasn't on food.

It twas that girl he had met in the library that his mind was on. She seemed really nice, but then, he didn't feel all up to talking to her. Now, he was still in that mood, but he didn't mind someone keeping him company for a while, as long as they weren't annoying.

The Twelve year old sat down at the Slytherin table and picked out some foods to eat. He was really picky on what he ate. Sometimes he would eat like, chicken or something, but he wasn't really all into eating meat and things like that.

He was more into like, eating vegetables. Yea, how weird was that. A Pre-teen that actually LIKED vegetables. Once you got over the taste they left in your mouth, they were pretty good.

Katie walked into the Great Hall rubbing her head. Someone shouted after her from the entrance hall. "I'm not short."She yelled back angrily. She sprinted for her table and sat down as far from the doors as possible. She had tears in her eyes as she rubbed her head where they had yanked on it. She wiped her eyes and sniffed slightly and tried to put it out of her mind. "They'll regret that."She whispered to herself. "one day they will regret making fun of me."She whispered as she started to eat. Her mind went back to that spell that Celia had taught her. Crucio. She knew that it hurt people now, but nobody would ever bother her again if she did it on them. She grinned to herself and started to eat.

Was that that one girl...

Ian turned to look at the door when someone yelled at the person entering. It was the girl from the library! W00t! "HEY!" Ian shouted out a her, hoping she would turn to look at him. He quickly realized that he had yelled out about 2 seconds after that other kid did.

What if she thought he was just someone else wanting to pick on her. Ian got up and followed her to the table, smiling a bit. "Hello" He muttered when he got there.

Katie jumped really high when he came up to her. "Oh..hi."She said quickly wiping her eyes again. "I..I wasn't expecting you.."She said smiling at him slightly. You could tell that she had been crying though. Her head hurt and she wanted to go hide somewhere. But she couldn't yet. She looked up at him carefully and then down at her plate. "You can sit down."She said softly motioning to the empty spot by her.

[Ian Reed]

"Hey..." He repeated, taking a seat next to her. He looked at the food down the table, then looked around the Great Hall, it had been a long time since he came in there. "So,..uh" He was no good at starting conversations, and plus he didn't even know what to talk about.

Maybe she would.

Katie glanced at him carefully and then smiled slightly. "What brings you over here?"She asked carefully. He was talking to her...he hadn't seemed to want to earlier, but now he was..weird.

[Ian Reed]

"I don't know..." Ian started, shifting a bit in his seat. "I just got.....bored I guess." Well, he had to give her some reason, and that was the best he could think of. Because he wasn't very good at making up excuses. Anywho...

Katie smiled at him carefully and then looked at her plate. She didn't want to bring up that she had been getting teased again. She didn't touch her plate for a long time though.

[Ian Reed]

He sat there for a few minutes, just kind of staring down the table. He was looking at all te other Ravenclaws sitting at the table. For a few seconds, he looked over at his own table. The ravenclaw table seemed to be a lot cleaner than the Slytherin table.

Ian had never been to the Gryffindor table, but he recalled going to the Hufflepuff table. They were so nice he couldn't stand it and left. Maybe he should go to the Gryffindor table sometime. The slytherin table no doubt got the best food.

Because they were totally tight like that.

"So yeah..you kinda saw that huh?"She asked carefully as she glanced over at him. "They were making fun of me again..like they always do.."She muttered. "Mostly Slytherins though.."

[Ian Reed]

"I didn't SEE it" Ian said. "More like heard it I guess." He looked down for a moment when she said it was mostly Slytherins. He wouldn't tease her. Well, if he was having a REALLY really cruddy day. He wouldn't tease/ hurt anyone unless they deserved it. The way he saw it, the girl did nothing to him, so therefore, he wouldn't tease her.

She nodded carefully. Without thinking she rubbed her head where they had pulled her hair. She stared at the door for a second and then saw the bunch of boys who had teased her come through the door. "Oh no.."She whimpered. "It's them."

[Ian Reed]

"Huh? Where?" Oh..Ian followed her gaze to the door. At least they wer by the door. Hopefully they would just go off to their own table, and not come to this one. He dind't know if they were the slytherin boys she had been talking about, or if some of them were in Ravenclaw.

If they DID come over to their table though, they would have some trouble. So, they better not.

Katie suddenly gripped his arm when they started over to her. "Go away."She growled at them as they walked up to them.

"aww, you have a boyfriend." One of the Slytherin boys said gruffly as he pushed Ian.

[Ian Reed]

He jumped a bit when she grabbed his arm. He watched the Slytherin boys make their way over to them table..and then they PUSHED him? Ohno they didn't!!

Ian stood up right after the boy pushed him, and shoved them right back...He was going to...-Inserts all the illegal things to do to a person ever- Yea. When they were sleeping. BWHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH!!!

Katie yelped. "Leave him alone!"She cried at the boys when they pushed him. The boys glanced up at the teachers table and then skidded off. Katie looked really sad. "I'm sorry."She said sitting down heavily. "They'll regret that."She muttered half to herself.

[Ian Reed]

Yea, well, one of these days when they were snoozing in their dorms, Ian was going to come in and like...Tie them up and then drag their screaming selves down to the lake and drown them HAHA!! Yes. The plan was all worked out..

But now, they were gone. Ian sat back down and sighed a bit. It would have been funny if he would've got into a fight. That would look sort of awkward then . . .

Katie bit her lip. "Are you ok?"She asked carefully. She watched him carefully to make sure he hadn't been hurt. They always make fun of me..I don't see why they can't just leave me alone..but one day, they'll regret ever hurting me."She growled out.

Ian thought for a moment then said "Yea, I guess I'm alright" They didn't really harm him badly...although that shove hurt him a bit. He was going to live. "Yea...." He muttered out then sighed and propped his elbow up on the table, setting his head in his hand. Ian turned his head towards Katie and just sat there, staring with thoughtful eyes.

Katie watched him for a moment their eyes linked. She felt suddenly uncomfortable and looked away from him quickly. She stared at her hands uncertainly feeling slightly uncomfortable under his gaze.
