Kranium's Bunker

[Brain Storm]

Kranium leaned back from the tree and fell on his back, smacking his head on a rock which incidentally happed to point in the direction of Kranium's door, which had deer-shaped face prints embedded in the wood. Kranium raised his head to speak.

"But Mommy! I don't want to go to school today. I want to stay home and bake cookies with yoouuuuuuu!"

His head cracked back down on the rock as he groaned in pain, tongue lolling out of his mouth, and blood and spittle dripping from his nose and mouth.

"Look at all the stars!"

[Snowflame]

Snowflame watches in slient fascination as a deer is repeatedly bludgeoned by a door. When he collapses in front of her, she leans over him, smiling in his face. "Oh, yeah. I've had those days. Pounding headache, flat on your back, some strange mare smiling at you..."

Snowflame looks up in shock at the zebra who now brandishes a sword at her. "Oh, hey. This isn't what it looks like." "Are you that pony here for the payment Kranium owes?" "Payment? No, no no no. I'm Snowflame. I'm just checking this place out. Your friend just took a massive beating to the brainpan, though. You might wanna get him looked at."

[Brain Storm]

Kranium pushed himself up and forced himself to balance. His eyes focus on nowwhere in particular.

"One, get me to the hospital, two, get off my lawn."

As soon as the last word left his mouth, he fell forward, his head smacking into the trunk of the tree in front of him.

[Temperate Wind]

Wind took a second to process Snowflame's apology. It seemed it had been a misunderstanding after all, since his host was a major klutz. The zebra gave a heavy sigh and sheathed his weapon. "Sorry about that, I was also checking this place out until I met Brain Storm over there. Guess I'd better help him out. I do owe him that much."

Wind trotted over to where Kranium lay resting. The large stag looked to have taken a bit too many blows to the skull. Wind leaned over and grabbed his left hoof, trying to lift the stag all by himself. Even for him, he was too heavy and struggled to move a couple inches. Teeth clenched, he asked the pegasus, "Hey...you mind helping me...here?"

[Brain Storm]

A door with Kranium's prints embedded in it creaked evilly as it healed itself, leaving no blemish behind.

I'll get you next time, Brain Storm. It thought evilly as it swung itself shut. Just you wait until the next time you try and simply walk out of me, and CRACK, you'll get a face-full of Mor Door.

[Snowflame]

"Sure, no problem." Snowflame moves to Kranium's other side, ducking under him and lifting him up. She uses her wing for extra support, and with the zebra's help the two find moving the deer simple. "So, we're gonna have to drag him all the way to the hospital?"

[Temperate Wind]

"I'm not familiar with this landscape. Don't worry, there's always a guide out there who works in mysterious ways. I'm sure we'll find one." His logic never faltered when it came to the supernatural. The two moved the stag further and further, trying to remember any hospitals on the way here. During the walk, a slight breeze grazed Wind's nose and, as if by magic, knew where to go.

"There should be one that way." He pointed his nose southward, giving into his instincts. A bit of hope is all it takes sometimes. If they were lucky...
