Oh she had forgotten this, entirely. For something that seemed to have been such a big deal, it seemed to have been forgotten without much resistance. Goes to show most things really aren't a big deal when you put a few thousand years between them. "You have no pony to see."
She said with a sigh, her horn instantly lit up. She knew he had to be punished for what he'd done, but she didn't want Celestia to be more disappointed in her. This was annoyingly confusing. She should just kill him, but something told her it was not the good thing to do, this needed complete clarity.
Luna closed her eyes and read his thoughts, she saw what he had done, how Veanna had pleaded and how he did not heed those pleas. It made her heart heavy, she was not in the killing mindset but she knew a Pony of such ill intent should not be allowed to walk free.
With that her horn lit up, instantly grabbing her former general with an orb of her magic, lifting him up into the sky to about 200 feet. "For thy actions, you will be executed in the same manner you chose to execute your former beloved. You will be brought down to the earth at speed not below 400 miles an hour, you will die on impact and continue downward into the earth, no less than 500 feet below the surface. Thy body will be buried on the spot with no military honors...last words will be taken now." She said waiting, holding him with the power of a goddess. A orb of magic no pony but Celestia could break. She spoke as strongly as she could, even now her reluctance was obvious.
