If the gazillion people on face book posted the photo below and took a stand and just spoke at least one time for this man who has no voice right now....maybe our vices can move mountains, this is an election year, its not to late he is alive, we have proof make our politicians get him home where he belongs to his family, to his friends to the life he knew before he was taken prisoner from our enemy. Please honor the precious soldier that this thread is about by not mocking the sincere comments on this thread. I'm sure his family and he himself greatly appreciate the prayers. I have done various things to help soldiers in addition to praying for them. I hope you can say the same.

Barney, U can't recognize sincerity when u c it because u mock everything. Spiritual warfare is a very Christian concept as indicated by the Word of God:

2 Corinthians 10:3-4 - "Though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh. . . The weapons of our warfare are not carnal. . . "

Ephesians 6:12 - "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."

Luke 10:19 - "I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you."

Innocent Muslims in Guantanamo bay . Is that why their countries refuse to take them back?

BTW : How many Muslims have we filmed while we cut off their heads?

That might be a reason to worry more for the American ?

How do you explain the failure of your spiritual warfare? Nothing happened.

Write to congress. Appeal with your local government or anyone who might facilitate his release.

Keep your eyes posted on the news. Spiritual warfare does work! I'm sure God has already started working on it.

But also keep the following story in mind:

A man who was stranded on a deserted island prayed that God would rescue him. An airplane came flying overhead but the man ignored the airplane and said God would rescue him. Next a ship came cruising by; the man ignored the ship because he said God would rescue him.

Days went by, then weeks, then months and the man was never rescued.

Then the man asked God, "Why didn't you rescue me?"

God answered, "I did. I sent an airplane and a ship."

So you see, Barney, just because Christians believe in the power of prayer, it doesn't mean we also don't use our brains and all the other skills and talents that God created us with. It's only you and nobody else who thought of the idea that Christians ONLY pray and do nothing else.

Nice attempt at a joke Sue. Oddly enough I am a Christian, I pray to God but I do not subscribe to the man-altered Bible.
