Looks like a great set up, though if I were you i'd go the extra mile and just SLI that 680 if you aren't going to get the 690.

I'm close to a rebuild soon my self, I think by January when I'm in the full swing of University my Q6600 won't be able to keep up much longer.

Let us know how it plays!

That board doesn't support SLI. This is fine by me as I've found, with terrible driver support, that SLI causes more headaches than performance gains.

I'm on a two year upgrade schedule anyway, and there's nothing that card won't run at 1920 x 1200 with max settings coming down the pipe.

a whole lot more then if you would of built it.

Price is $2099. About 250-300 more than if you bought the components yourself.

That may seem a lot until you consider the professional assembly, OC and burn in. Oh, and the warranty.

$300 or six hours and a six pack while putting the components together (An hour to put it together, five hours for the bloody OS). Maybe it's cause I've always built every PC I get with my Father, but I'm just too nostalgic to let someone else build my PC

Looks nice, I'm getting ready to order a new system myself: I think I'm at least a generation behind (possibly 2!)

I bought one three years ago and its still holding up well PC gaming seems to have plateaued for a long while now. I can remeber upgrading every two years at least.

When the next consoles arrive if they ever do I think we'll see another big jump which is a shame as the consoles are leading the PC.
