DISTANCE, A "sucked in" rp

Setting:

This takes place during Kingdom Hearts. It's a sucked in type thing.

How a "sucked in" rp works is that people from this real world (portraying yourself, so no cat-girls or super-human strengthed fighters) will get sucked into the Kingdom Hearts Video Game. No, it't not going to be that their world gets destroyed by Heartless, because then they would be in the same dimension of the KH stuff to begin with, which isn't how to do these type of rps.

Um...the game will advance as it's suppose to, with the only exception that there will be people from this world coming along, too. You can be on Riku's side, or Sora's side, or a nuetral character going only for your own side.

You can claim the characters your character will end up with, or, if none, then you can go ahead and flirt all you like. You can play only ONE OC in this game, unless there will be another OC with an extremely minor part (like a shops person or someone who needs rescuring). If you want to play as a canon character, then you are only allowed to play as the canon character, and no one else but you are allowed to control them.

If you play an OC, then all canons are open to play and to be switched off, unless that canon character was claimed by one person.

If you want a relationship with a canon character, you are NOT allowed to play that character to react the way you want it to. Somebody else might want that character, too, (first come first serves, though) and so playing the canon to your liking is NOT ALLOWED. You can do so if you're just flirting or want to be a Mary-Sue (which is frowned upon but something I most likely will do for my character...)

*Appearance: Has short black hair that is layer in the back (so it gets longer at the front), and the long parts in the front curved to frame her long face. She has bright green eyes that are almond-shaped. She wears a black camisole and regular blue form-fitting jeans that flare out towards the bottom. Two belts are on each of her pant legs, and then another two, one around the belt loops and the last hanging off her hips. She wears tennis shoes that are laced inside. She wears a "dress-robe" (like a loose cotton jacket that goes to her knees and has a hoodie) that is black. She wears a dragon necklace that she never takes off.
*Personality: Zene is a fun person, but she is misunderstood a lot of times. She usually spaces out, thinking deep into things that others might categorize as simple. She usually is fine with silence, but then becomes uncomfortable if she's energetic and no one is talking. She likes walking and running, but only to an extent. She can become depressed easy, especially when someone says something that mades her realize something else.

Zene rested her feet on the bench, leaning down on it all the way, not caring if there was any germs that could get into her hair. She fingered her dragon necklace as she began to space out, Waiting for her friends wasn't that big of a deal normally, but today she seemed to be out of it more then she usually was.

She sighed a bit, closing her eyes as the sun went down more, causing the light to almost blind her.

"How much longer...?" she asked a bit annoyed. She was suppose to meet them all so they could go have a small KH party, since it was almost the release of the second one. They would be playing Kingdom Hearts the entire night. "...If they ever get here..." Zene mumbled, placing her arm over her eyes.

*Weapon (if any): Sword/Magic (only like heal, fire, ice, ect. Sora's magic)
*Appearance: Kaiyuku (Kai (Kai-kun)) has shoulder length black hair, that is typically tied back by a red or black hair tie. Her eyes are a bright emerald green that when angry turn yellow. She wears a bright red shirt and black pants. A yin-yang choker is worn around her neck along with a black circled onyx necklace that’s more loosely worn. Her shoes are a combination of red and black, with red laces. A thin red and black bracelet is wound around her left wrist and a red sweat band with a black star that’s warped around her right.
*Personality:Kaiyuku (Kai (Kai-kun)) has an outer optimistic aura but deep within is a serious person. She is well informed but at times acts like an idiot. She loves to have fun, but when the chips are down she’ll get it together and help out in whatever way possible. She loves to joke around with friends and tries to keep everyone in a good mood no matter what the situation they’re in.

“Oi!!” called a vice a little ways away,” Gomen Zene!! Sorry I took so long, I meant to get here earlier but my mom would not shut up about it raining or something!” Kaiyuku waved as she ran up to her shot haired friend.

“So I take it that the others aren’t here yet?” she asked smiling stupidly at the obvious answer to that question.

Zene groggily got up from her bench. "Ah, don't bother with apologies. I was too early. And no," she explained, sitting straight on the bench now, "No one else has come by yet."

She then got up, standing tall, her 5'8" figure stretching out. "We might as well head over to the arcade's private room for our private party." she said with a tilt of her head, making it crack. She already was walking towards the entrance of the arcade before stopping and turning her head back. "The others will meet up with us soon."

[Kaiyuku]

“Right.” Kaiyuku said quickly walking over to her friend standing about 5 inches shorter then her friend. “This is gonna be sweet!” she said doing a little jig as they walked toward the arcade. “I’m been waiting years for this!!”

[Shinjuu]

"You act like you've never been to a video game party before." Zene replied, but she smiled. She knew her friend was a Kingdom Hearts fanatic. It would be great to torture her on the subject some more, but Zene found herself being confronted by the arcade manager.

"We're having some technical difficulties with the gaming equipment." he said. Zene looked at him in suprise, "WHAT?!" she calmed some before asking, "...So now what?"

"Don't worry. The games still work." the manager said. "Just, uh, don't be surprised if you're on a really difficult level, make it pass the near-impossible boss, and then the game goes out before you can save." He then pointed ou the room that they could party.

They entered the room, finding it empty except for the large TV and the Kindgom Hearts game on the floor with one empty Memory Card.

"You wanna go first?" Zene asked her friend, raising an eyebrow.

[Kaiyuku]

“Why, thank you.” Kaiyuku said a bit sarcastically plopping down on the floor and taking the memory card then putting it in the memory card slot. “Now to begin the fight! I plan to get to Olympia before I go home! And don’t wonder why because you know full well why.” She said pointing behind her at Zene without even looking. “I know the look!!”

"What?" Zene asked, as if she really didn't know the reason. "But, eh, whatever. It'll take you, like, what? Fifteen minutes to get pass one world?" she wandered over to a beanchair and dragged it along the floor to right in front of the television. She sat in the beanchair and then looked at the screen as she waited for her friend to do something with the game.

She wasn't about to e nice and get her friend a benachair.

[Kaiyuku]

“You know…” Kaiyuku said slowly as she turned on the game and watched all the little PS2 copy write things go by,” You are lucky I like sitting on the floor. Its very comfortable.” She raised an eyebrow as the TV started to get a little fuzzy looking. “No!!” she basically screamed as she almost hugged the TV if it weren’t so big she would have. “Don’t mess up! I need to play this game!! I’ll die if I don’t!! I’ve waited so long!”

[Shinjuu]

"Calm yourself, child." Zene said with a small laugh. It didn't bother her since she wasn't playing it. "Don't worry too much. The game'll play out as it's suppose to!"

She chuckled, then suddenly she twitched. "The...hell...?" she asked, checking her hands. She was terribly shaking.

"Kai-kun!" She said in desperation, standing abruptly. "What's happening!?" she looked up at the television and saw that it had frozen on the emptiness of the first Princess circle--Snow White.

Suddenly, the screen started going even more haywire. Zene gave a small starled yelp as the ground began to break.

[Kaiyuku]

“Whoa!” Kaiyuku cried as the floor gave away under her feet and she fell. “I know I said at one time I wanted to be in the game but this is nuts!!!” she said randomly.

Zene fell through the floor, too, and she was shocked at how easily Kai was able to speak at a time like this.

Before she knew it, she was standing, alone, on her very own platform. "This is...just like..." she remembered the fiction her and Kai had written when Yami no Yuugi and Seto from Yuugiou had to go through this. She wondered if Kai was going to be there, too, just in a different realm, but the same platform, with the same choices.

She found herself greeted with three choices, and suddenly a voice spoke. “The power is within you. If you give it form…it will give you strength. Choose well.”

The voice was odd sounding. The voice was there, but not quite. It was like thinking in your head. You can hear yourself, but it doesn't have a specific tone to it.

Zene looked around at the three weapons that greeted her. The sword, the staff, and the shield. She tried to remember what they all meant. She walked forward.

[Kaiyuku]

“Okay…” Kaiyuku said slowly looking around at the platform she had landed on,” no I know I’ve played Kingdom Hearts way too much! I must be dreaming…” she pinched herself hard then said. “I’ve hurt myself sleeping before and didn’t wake up its not abnormal.”

“The power is within you. If you give it form…it will give you strength. Choose well.”

Kaiyuku looked around at the three weapons that greeted her. She looked at each of them eyeing them. “With my luck,” She finally said walking toward the sword,” This isn’t a dream and Zene’s going to be on another world or something. Then again…no…my luck sucks.” She said nodding to herself as she picked up the sword. “The Power of the Warrior. Invincible Courage. A sword of terrible destruction. Is this the power you seek?”

“Yes.” Kaiyuku said as the sword dissolved into light and entered her body.

“Now, What will you give up in exchange?”

“That’s…a tough question.” She said to herself looking around.

[Shinjuu]

Zene took a step towards the staff. The voice lit up.

“The power of the mystic. Inner strength. A staff of wonder and ruin. Is this the power you seek?”

Zene nodded. "I need inner strength. I've...always needed inner strength." she said as if to back her decision up.

"Now. What will you give up in exchange?" the voice asked.

Zene made a "Pft" noise and nonchalantly walked over to the Shield.

“The power of the guardian.” the voice explained. “Kindness to aid friends. A shield to repel all. Is this the power you will give up?”

"Of course it is." Zene replied. A thought went across her mind and she shook her head as if to make the thought go away. "I don't need it." she said firmly.

“You have gained the power of the mystic, and have given up the power of the guardian. Is this the form you choose?”

Zene looked up and closed her eyes, breathing deeply. "Yes." she said, and she stood cautiously now, nowing what was next.

The floor shattered, and Zene fell.

[Kaiyuku]

“Okay!” Kaiyuku said throwing her fist up in the air as she walked toward the staff.

“The power of the mystic. Inner strength. A staff of wonder and ruin. You give up this power?”

“Yep!” she said. “I’ve always had plenty of my own inner strength. So why need more?”

The staff exploded into millions of tiny lights and floated away.

“You have gained the power of a warrior, and have given up the power of a mystic. Is this the form you seek?”

“Just about sums it up.” Kaiyuku said. She then remembered what happens when you finish choosing your form. “Kuso!” she said as the ground under her shattered and she fell into the darkness.

When Zene came to, she wondered how she had been able to become unconscious at all. She was still lying on the ground when she noticed she wasn't on the platforms anymore. She was a very strange place. Lights were everywhere, and she stood to see it was a beyblade stadium!

"How the--!?" she almost shouted before noticing three people. It made her gasp and she covered her mouth. They were here...all of them. She felt tears of happiness in her eyes. She had always wanted to meet them so badly. Wanted them to come...

Kai, from Beyblade.

Seto, from Yuugiou.

And Zidane, from FF9.

She went over to Kai immediately. "Kai--!" she started, but he cut her off.

"What's most important to you?" he asked abruptly.

She paused, a bit suprised, but then remembered. They...weren't really here. She closed her eyes and breathed deeply, then opened her mouth to speak...

[Kaiyuku]

Kaiyuku stood up groggily while holding her head. “Figures…” she murmured,” The only part of my body that hurts.” She looked around to notice she was in the middle of a forest clearing.

She noticed three people standing around and gasped as she recognized them all.

Itachi from Naruto.

Bankotsu from Inuyasha.

And finally Krad from D.N.Angel.

“Cool!!” she walked over to them quickly then remembered what this part of the “game” meant.

“What do you want out of life?” Itachi almost snapped.

Kaiyuku stopped any movement and now knew why in the anime people thought Itachi was scary. She then thought about the question for a minute before complying. “To broaden my horizons.” She said then Itachi looked away from her.

Felling a bit hurt that her favorite bishonen brushed her off she walked over to Krad. Whom asked a question as well,” “What’s most important to you?”

“My friends.” She said with no hesitation.

“Are they really that important?” Krad said then looked toward the sky.

Kaiyuku was getting a bit testy with them all ignoring she but she walked over to Bankotsu. “Ha! Stupid inu could never kill you!” she said before he asked his question,” What are you afraid of?”

“Losing someone I care about.” She said sadly.

“Is it really that scary?” he asked in a cocky tone then looked away.

The voice then broke in before Kaiyuku could finally yell at one of the three.

“You wish to broaden your horizons. You’re friends are the most important to you, and you’re afraid of losing someone you care about. Your adventure begins in the dead of night. Your road won’t be easy, but a rising sun awaits your journey’s end. Is this the path you choose?”

“Most the time that’s what I get anyway.” She said shrugging and shooting a glare at Itachi who didn’t even give her a comment.

“The day you will open the door is both far off and very near.”

Then the darkness met her again.

"My dreams." she said, but then, before he could say anything else, she continued, "And you. You, and Seto, and Zidane, and..." she trailed off.

Kai raised an eyebrow, and as if her emotions were synchrinizing with what was happening, he smiled. "Are your dreams really such a big deal?" he asked kindly.

Zene shut her eyes and looked down, trying not to cry. She was feeling a mix in her...angst, and yet happiness. She never wanted Kai to say those words to her, and yet she was so happy she could at least speak to him.

She then turned and walked over to Zidane. "What do you want out of life?" he asked good-naturely. Zene titled her head, thinking. "Hm...To...to truly be free." she finally said.

"To be free, huh?" he asked, then he smiled, his eyes becoming blank.

Zene then walked to Seto, her heart racing from all that was happening. "What are you afraid of?" he asked abruptly.

Zene was almost about to saw "Spiders", and her mouth even opened. However, she slowly closed it, thinking. "Being...being alone." she said honestly.

"Is being alone really so scary?" he asked. Zene studied him, knowing him in the why she read him in fics, and she nodded her head furiously.

“You’re afraid of being alone. You want to be free. The thing most important to you are your dreams, and the people who asked you the questions. Your adventure begins in the dead of night. As long as the sun is shining, your journey should be a pleasant one.”

Zene nodded.

"The day you will open the door is both far off and very near.”

[Kaiyuku]

Kaiyuku looked around the Sleeping Beauty platform she was on. She wasn’t quiet sure if she should go near the light in the middle of the stage yet because then it would engage the fight with the Dark Side. She involuntarily shivered thinking about fighting it, all she knew was that she’d probably die.

‘Sora is a game character, they designed him to fight the Heartless.’ Kaiyuku thought as she sighed. “I’m not that physically able.” She looked uneasily at the spot were the light was coming from. It was truly inviting at this point. “I know I’ve said I love the darkness but come on!” she yelled at no one. “I didn’t really mean it and if I go to the light I’m going to have to fight that Dark side and I’m not all that ailanthic…damn this sucks.” She said sitting in the ground and staring at the light. "20 minutes." she said. "If no one comes in 20 minutes then i'll go and try to fight it myslef." with that said he crossed her legs and arms and waited.

[Shinjuu]

Zene fell right next to Kaiyuku, and her staff clattered on the ground and bounced away from her.

She groaned as she picked herself up. She stood up with a dizzy appearance and staggered over to her staff. She then stood straight, regaining herself, and looked around.

she finally noticed Kaiyuku.

"Kai-kun!" she shouted. She smiled mischiviously. "So...what happened with you? What did you give up? What'd you pick when they asked you the questions?!" she exclaimed.

[Kaiyuku]

Kaiyuku crossed her eyes at the large amount of questions that hit her at one time. “Please!! Not so much at one time!!” She held her head then slowly picked herself up off the floor and brushing off invisible dirt. “First off, I fell, second I gave up a mystic, and third I begin in the dead of night that’s all you’re getting…now what about you?”

[Shinjuu]

"I gave up the sword" Zene lied, "And my adventure ALSO begins in the dead of night." she chuckled.

"So, let's go kick some Heartless's ass, eh?" Zene said, alreading casually walking to the light.

[Kaiyuku]

“As much as I would not like to!” Kaiyuku said following her friend as her sword materialized.

“The closer that one gets to the light the greater the shadow becomes.”

“Here goes.” Kaiyuku said looking back as their shadows formed into one huge Dark Side. “This will be so much fun.” She said sarcastically as she stood tall and held her sword out in front.

[Shinjuu]

"Joyous." Zene replied with a grin, her eyes narrowed. "Dreams a dreams." she said, as if that was suppose to be her support source. She didn't even hesitate before she jumped...

and flew high.

Zene's eyes widened as she landed on Dark Side's arm, not graceful in the least, but stable enough to stay on. She balanced herself before she began to attack the arm.

[Kaiyuku]

“Dream or not there is no way in hell I’m jumping up there!!” Kaiyuku yelled from below. “I’m just going to attack from the ground. I feel safe here, besides I’d probably fall and crack my head open!!” Kaiyuku joked as she slashed at the Dark Side’s arm.

The Dark side then arched his back and began to blast pale gray lights at the teens. Kaiyuku hit the one that came at her back at it but one came from behind and hit her in the back. “Hey!” she said falling over. “That hurts!!”

[Shinjuu]

Zene was hit with one from the front. She let her arms flew out and circle rapidly, trying to regain her balance. Instead, she fell.

It was definately not expected, but Zene was falling at a reasonably speed. She wasn't going as fast as reality would have made it, and, because of that, she landed to the ground steadily.

"AWESOME...." was all she could say before once more getting hit with an orb. She staggered forward.

[Kaiyuku]

“You didn’t fall on your ass though.” Kaiyuku said as she staggered to her feet. “Screw it!” she said as she jumped up onto the Dark Side’s arm. Surprisingly she didn’t fall but then the heartless shifted and she fell. She grabbed a tight hold of its arm so she wouldn’t fall to the floor as the tall black monster stood up.

“Ok I give!!” she yelled. “ I want off this ride.” She yelled as the heartless threw his arms around. It then began to form a dark aura in the hand of the arm Kaiyuku was attached to then punched into the ground and causing Kaiyuku to squeeze her eyes shut as her back met with the hard ground. “Ouch!” she said. “I’m just getting better and better at this aren’t I Zene?” she asked as Shadow heartless began to sprout up from the ground.

[Shinjuu]

"Kill them off!!" Zene continued to repeat with every strike she made at the small shadow heartless. They errupted into green balls. Zene collected half, allowing Kaiyuku to have the rest.

She then jumped up again, her staff continiously striking the Dark Side's hand and arm. She was so sure it would die soon. It didn't take that much to kill it with Sora, and she knew she was just as strong as him. At least, in the beginning.

She pulled off of Dark Side and quickly spoke, "You want to finish him?" she asked, never taking her eyes off of the Dark Side.

[Kaiyuku]

Kaiyuku bowed courteously then said,” Thank you.” she then ran forward and slashed at the arm finally making the Heartless go into a huge fit.

Kaiyuku’s weapon dissolved as her pupils got way smaller. “Shit!” she said as she ran back. “Now I remember, when you “beat” him he gets mad!!”

[Shinjuu]

Zene's eyes widened. "WHAT?!" she shouted, clearing not having remembered.

"Do not be afarid of the dark, because your heart is the mightest weapon of all." the voice said.

Zene felt herself crumbling on the inside, and she was in incredible pain. She screamed out as she sunk through the darkness, seperated from her friend.
