Sounds good! It could just be them for a while - La causing a bit of chaos among the townspeople and Phoebus trying to get to the bottom of the case - and we'll invite Clopz and Esme when we get to that point in the thread then. Maybe La would get Phoebus in a position that would be a cause for suspicion and that's when we invite Esme in to catch them in said position! Poor Phoebz. I'm going to so enjoy giving him a hard time LOL xD <3 If you want, I could start it. But you will have to give me some time since I'm a bit busy at ze moment!

Yeah Genie has a tendancy to just go off on his little travels from time to time so shoving him in randomly is no problem at all, he could wind up anywhere including Kuzco's Palace.

Feel free to kick it off if you'd like to, and absolutely no rush at all on answering, you know i'm not the 'reply as soon as you do' type so whenever you feel the muse is good for me. I'll bring Carpet along for the ride too.

Yeah again no problem, I'm going to start the La & Gothel one off some time in the next few days so we'll have that to be getting on with anyway so there's no rush at all for this baby. We can even postpone a bit if it helps. =)

That's cool m'dear, I'm up for anything - whenever seems best. :) Hmm. Well, I have a coursework to be handed in by the 13th Feb so that thing will probably be taking up my time next week. Maybe we could kick it off when that's over and done with? Should have less pressure on me then. <3

Works for me Steph, no hurry at all. Alternatively, if you feel pushed due to work and have more threads to kick off and you want me to start it with Genie just turning up and making a nuisance of himself somewhere instead then that's good for me too, just say the word. =)

This is a bit of a long shot, but I think it could work. 8D

So it's between Beckett and La, taking place shortly before the events of The Price of Freedom, which, if you don't know, involve Beckett being in his mid-to-late twenties, stationed in the worst possible places for a Company port, and a little more immature and greedy than we would like for some reason being a slave trader. He could possibly attempt to have La and her people captured as slaves, only to by some twist of events become captured himself, which could lead to hilarity ensuing?

With a bit more developing, it'll be good, but it's a start. What do you think? =3

I have to admit I know zip about the Price of Freedom but I reckon we should be able to pull something together here.

La's 'people' per se are usually only the Leopard Men that she's forced into servitude so capturing them might work; as for the people that she came from originally, the Waziri tribe, she sees them as always standing in her way so probably wouldn't care too much if they were all taken away but either way if you want to grab either or, or simply La on her own then feel free.

If La's removed from the Leopard Staff she'll have no magic and just be a regular - although no doubt spitting mad - woman and Beckett's attitude will infuriate her. Soooooo yes if the tables come to be turned he'd be in a world of trouble at her hands.

I doubt you'd need THAT much of a background on it. Just know that Beckett's younger and though he's not a Lord yet, he's still got a decent amount of power, at least over the area. plus he's a lot moodier...

Beckett's attitude naturally would infuriate anyone, although he hasn't had the pleasure of making a woman of authority angry at him! I think this'll really be an interesting thread!

Bit of a waffly start but I just wanted to get into posting with La since this is her first IC one, she'll be briefer and much more to the point once she meets up with Beckett.
