WELCOME
Welcome to Of fame and glory, a Lord of the Rings RPG! Here you can play as your favorite Fellowship character or create your very own original character and throw it into the world of Middle-Earth just as you always dreamed. We have a bunch of canons that are open, so go take one before their all gone! Also, do check out the sites Plot, as well as our Rules! Both sections are very important for those who want to join the site. Should you not have read these two things, and we will find out, you will be seriously berated and then punished until you agree to read both threads. I mean, really, if you want to join, shouldn't you know what is happening with the plot and most definitely the rules to make sure you won't get kicked out right away for something stupid you could have prevented from happening?
Anyways, thanks for reading this and we hope to see you join our ranks!

Hobbiton
Hobbiton is the homeplace of Frodo and the other three hobbits who went on the great adventure of the Fellowship. Now only three of those famous hobbits remain within its borders, but that doesn't mean that there is any less mischief and mayhem going on with the friendly hobbits.

This village is a nearby neighbor of Hobbiton to the east. Located somewhat northeast of Buckland lies the Old Forest.

Bree
Though according to maps of Middle-Earth, it is not actually part of the Shire but is near enough that you could possibly consider it so. It is a small little village inhabited by the race of men and is a place that hobbits and others must pass to go to and from the Shire.

Weathertops
Well technically not part of this small region, it is smack in the middle of the Shire and Rhudaur. This used to be an old watch tower and was where Frodo was stabbed with a Morgul blade. Many who travel from Bree to Rivendell stop here to camp for a night.

The great city of the elves. Lord Elrond has left this city, though a few elves may have stayed behind instead of sailing for the Dying Lands.

Misty Blue Mountains
This long stretch of mountain lies behind Rivendell and one must pass over or around in order to get to Rohan and Gondor.

Moria
The most famous Dwarf kingdom of all, it was recently a tomb during the time of the Fellowship for goblins had snuck in and murdered all the dwarves who had lived there. No one is sure if the state of the kingdom has been remedied, so few seldom visit or dwell near for long.

Lorien
These are the woods of Lothlorien, once home to the great Elf Queen Galadriel and King Celeborn. Located on the other side of Moria, it was here that the Fellowship rested after their escapade within the fallen Dwarf city. Some elves are said to dwell here, though a majority of them have left including the King and Queen.

Forests of Mirkwood
It is here that Prince Legolas Greenleaf's kingdom is said reside. No one is sure where exactly in these forests the kingdom lies, but rest assured it is there. Few elves have stayed within its protective walls.

Far into the north of the forest lies the Mountains of Mirkwood, which are needed to be crossed should one be traveling toward the Iron Hills, Esgaroth, or Erebor.

Isengard
Located near the Gap of Rohan and Dunland, Isengard is the home of the wizards. Saruman and Gandalf both trained in their craft here as well as many other fine wizards. Saruman is no longer locked within its chambers and the Ents have once more returned to Fangorn forest.

Many fear this old and dark forest, for it is said that the trees within its halls speak and come alive. It is here that Treebeard and the other Ents work to regrow all the trees lost during the War of the Ring.

Helm's Deep
This Rohan's great holding structure, often the place of retreat when Edoras the capital city could be in danger of attack. During the War, many of the Erolingas fled here when their homes in West and East folds were destroyed by the evil of Saruman.

Edoras
This is Rohan's capital city where the King and the nobles of the court live along with some Erolingas. The King's and his commanding officers Erods are housed here, so that they can better protect the city and be in a central part of the country.

White Mountains
These mountains run from the Gap of Rohan all the way across to Minas Tirith the capitol of Gondor. If you are ever traveling from Edoras to Minas Tirith all you have to do is follow these mountains which will lead you straight there.

This is the famous white city, capitol of Gondor. It is here that the great King of Men, Aragorn lives with his beautiful wife Arwen Undomiel.

Osgiliath
This is one of the minor cities of Minas Tirith, the last defence against Mordor before one would come to the capitol herself. Though it had been laid seige to by the evil of Sauron, the city has been rebuilt and many happy Gondorians now reside there.

This land borders Middle-Earth to the south-west, just off the coast of Umbar and Haradwaith. The country isn't small, but then again it isn't very large. It is a tropical island, with a population being of only 200. The race that lives there looks much like elves, being very lithe and graceful with similarly pointed ears.

Balidain
This country borders Middle-Earth far to the north where many people only know of Forodwaith and the Northern Waste. The people here are tough, and said to live with wolves from what little those who inhabit Middle-Earth know. Many have forgotten of this far distant land for there have few who have traveled so far south. But sometimes a few of these hardy people come for a visit to see new sights.
