Life isn't always as kind as we'd like it to be. While some people can handle the stress of everyday life, not all can stand up to it. Some believe that suicide is the only answer. Others turn to drugs and alcohol to get through their problems. St. Louis is no exception.
The mayor of St. Louis with the help of the community took control of an old abandoned building. After fixing it up and some renovations they have opened up a shelter for people who have nowhere else to go.
Court ordered or voluntarily done the shelter is open for those ages 20 and older or those with families.
