Infinite Crossroads

Welcome to Crossroads traveler. I dare not guess how you came to be here, as that story is different for most everyone, but I will give you a little information about where you've ended up. You know that saying "All roads lead to Rome?" Well with Crossroads, that phrase is completely true. All roads do lead here.

See, however it is that you came to be here, your story has already been told by hundreds of others, all of them from different places, different times, and different lives. Keep in mind now, when I say different places, I don't mean one person is from Chicago and one person is from Milwaukee. When I say different places, I mean one person could have been delving into one of many of the caves of Skyrim while another was fighting the Galactic Empire on Hoth. Or perhaps one person was running away from an onslaught of Lord Zedds putties while another had just been hit by an unstable Mass Effect field on Noveria.

See, Crossroads is aptly named. All the parts of the Multiverse are joined here. What's a Multiverse you ask? Well it's quite simple really, let me explain. You live in a Universe, and while your universe is unimaginably large, it is still just a part of something bigger. Next door to your universe is another universe remarkably like yours. The only difference between them is minor and unnoticeable. See, there is a universe for every possible combination of "things." One universe you might be named Ned, but in another universe you could be named Zed, and that could be the only difference between the universes.

As you can imagine, the number of universes is incalculable and most likely infinite. The one thing they all have in common however, is that they all share a boarder with Crossroads. Crossroads is the center of it all.
