Not much going on at the moment, other than the fifth anniversary for Ethereal Ravenclaw's main site.

I recently signed up for National Novel Writing Month, which is where you sign up to write a novel (or novel-length fan fiction) to the sum of 50,000 words.

As intimidating as that may sound, it's more of a motivation to write if you've been wanting to, plus you'll have many people's support as they'll be doing exactly the same thing.

PS: Three guesses what I'll be writing, and the first two don't count. happy.gif

This (i went to the link) sounds absolutely exciting. And i love a challenge and i'm itching to sign up. Eh, its only done in november though, i wish they would do it semianually, then maybe i'd be less busy with school. What do you think? Should i go for it? One of their Q:A said that even with a full time job, its not so hard to do because its only a short novel. And i love writing novels, my other story was novel-length and written in about a month. Hmmm....

Why not? Lots of people sign up, but don't quite get all 50,000 words (especially their first year doing it).

How are you doing? I'm at 2017 typed (plus several pages hand written). Mind you, I haven't really had time to write because of my midterms, etc. until this weekend.

At this rate, I have to do about 2822 words a day to finish on time. >_<

*laughs*. Me too. I've written about 4,000 words. I dunno how many more words i gotta write to finish, but its gonna be alot. And also, I've posted my writing at fanfic.net. So now i'm not just writing just to get to 50000 words, but i gotta make it make sense so my reviewers will keep reading *laughs*. So i gotta start writing so i can keep updating on fanfic.net and so i can actually win! *laughs* Luna.gif grin.gif cool.gif

1'm on 14,000, so obviously no hope of winning. I'm wanting to make 20K before the end, but ... yeah. 16K will be more like it.

But anyway, who cares if we lose. smile.gif We tried, and we have more words than we would have had if we hadn't tried, and that's what matters!

So, how many people are going to participate this year? I'm in. Yes, I am UNsane, as my work load is heavier this month than last... Meh.

If you're wondering why I've been M.I.A. lately, it's because I was planning for and then writing my NaNoWriMo for the last two months respectively. I'll try to be around more after November 30th!
