hair - Long brown hair and tends to curl if not properly held up. Tendrils tend to fall loose very often.

Has long brown hair that drives her batty because of it's inability to remain under control. She is forever having to re-pin and tuck curls and tendrils back up. She has classic delicate features that would almost hint of her being something other than the commoner she is.

She tends to wear simple clothes, because of working in the church and same place that she was raised, Gia tends to wear dresses that are appropriate and that some might say help make her disappear and blend in. Soft, simple, and muted colors that don't have her standing out in the crowed.

Gia is what you would call a quiet mouse. Being raised around the sisters and clergy she was told to maintain the volume of her voice and be seen without being seen or heard. When she is alone, Gia is light and bright. She loves to just read and watch the people. She is especially happy when she can just watch the water. Despite her being very guarded around people she is a dreamer and one of the things that she would love is to be taken away.

She is smart and loves to laugh even if it's not something that she was able to do very often. When she is nervous she has a habit of chewing on her bottom lip and when she's upset or hurt, Gia will just shutdown. Withdrawing deep into herself and for all purpose, hiding herself away from the world.

Gia was found in a basket on the steps of a church. No name, no letter, nothing to say who she was. The sisters and priest named her Gulliana after the Father Giovanni, the priest that found her. Vincenza for the city she was in and Trovatelli is the last name that all the little foundlings were given. She would have been turned over to the orphanage but the sister fell in love with her and kept her there, raising her.

Raising her inside the hidden world of the small church, Gia was taught to be quiet as a mouse and respect her elders. The constant shushing and the teachings to appear as if she wasn't there stuck with her so much that now even no longer a child, she still is quiet as a mouse and does whatever she can to disappear.

She loves to sit in the shadows and just watch the water and people. Wondering and wishing for a family. Not the sisters and clergy that had raised her but a family. She secretly wishes for love and fears that she won't have any of that and will be stuck becoming a sister as well. Now that the churches are closed she has the hope that maybe, just maybe...she won't go down that path.
