The wind had begun to pick up as Ulrik began to walk the streets, but he neither noticed nor cared as his coat began to blow about his waist. Alot had changed since Kasimir's death and non for the better. Each day Rik found himself growing ever closer to his end. He just couldn't find his purpose on this earth without his sire to give him direction. He just couldn't find the right way to end it all. There was no one he trusted to kill him peacefully without causing him endless pain. He'd almost begged for his maker to end him during his dying moments but of course Kas had denied him and made him promise to live out his live as he'd intended him to.

He came to a stop in the middle of the street, stretching his arms out either side of him. He'd come to Boston for a reason, he'd heard the stories from Kasimir himself but he still didn't know exactly why he was here. They had their coven but he'd never been apart of one, he just wasn't a people person. It had always been him and Kas against the world. Now he was alone.

Silently he turned his head to the skies and took a deep breath, inhaling the fresh nights sky. It wasn't until he smelt the familiar scent of human blood that his mind snapped out of it's sorry state to zone in on the smell. "Lounas." He said simply against the wind as he slowly tilted his head to one side. He shouldn't feed straight from the source it went against Kasimir's dying wishes but if he was to go seek out the Queen he needed his strength to get passed her guard. If they did indeed to try to stop him.

Without a seconds thought he was off following the scent to an alleyway to find a dying woman lying on the floor. His eyes grazed her unconscious form briefly before scooping her into his arms to get better leverage of his neck. Once he had his grip he tucked in, not wanting to waste anymore time or blood than was necessary.

Sometime later Ulrik found himself coming to a stop outside a cathedral, the air thick with the scent of those of his kind, It was then that he knew he'd come to the right place. He'd been told there was only one main coven residing here in Boston and it was their Queen that he seeked. She was old, powerful and just what Rik needed to get his life back on track again. If she wouldn't help him then she certainly had the power to end him, he had nothing to lose. One way or another tonight he was going to get what he wanted.

Before the guards could come out and stop him he forced his way through the front doors and raised his hands in surrender. "I seek an audience with the Queen." He said loud enough for his voice to carry through all the rooms. If anyone tried to stop him he'd just throw them off until they finally stopped him. He hadn't come all this way to fail.

Deidre did not like being summoned. She wasn't summoned by anyone, yet here she was, marching through the cathedral because someone had waltzed in off the street and demanded to speak with her. If she was in anything akin to a forgiving mood, she wouldn't rip their head off. And that was a very big if. Deidre was rarely in a forgiving mood and that wasn't something to be mistaken for wisdom either. Sometimes it wasn't in her best interests to just kill someone, but she was no saint and she most certainly lacked the patience of one on a good day. Pushing aside one of the guards who tried to get in her way, while he protested about potential threats and whatever, Deidre just continued to walk, up the stairs from the catacombs and into the main area of the church. She wasn't stupid. This guy was a vampire, so he was either looking to make friends or he was suicidal.

To be completely honest, Deidre didn't really care which. She'd kill him either way if he pissed her off any more.

"Didn't anybody ever teach you it's not polite to come into people's homes uninvited?" she growled. The guards immediately backed off, but then Deidre had never really understood the reasoning behind them anyway. She was older than them, and by a fair chunk of time too, not some measly few years, yet they insisted on acting as though she was the fragile young woman she appeared to be. Easily broken and needing defending. The red head almost wanted to snort at the mere thought of them believing such a thing. If she were so helpless, she wouldn't be alive let alone leading their coven. Focusing her attention on the stranger, Deidre narrowed her eyes.

There was something unsettling about the way he had so casually waltzed inside their coven and demanded an audience with her. And Deidre was fast coming to dislike unsettling things, especially now. Rumors were floating of a cure, something which had been harnessed into a weapon by the Hunters and wasn't that just peachy. Now they had to worry about the wolves matching them as vampires, or being reduced to bags of blood and bone by the Hunters on the other side of the fence. Neither were appealing prospects. Folding her arms over her chest, Deidre just watched the male vampire as he stood before.

"What is your business here? You demanded an audience with me, now speak or shall I be forced to pull it from you?"

He knew she'd come. It was the only way he could guarantee he would gain himself an audience so quickly at such short notice. Even if he did have to beg to keep his life in order to get his proposition heard. As soon as she came into sight he threw aside the last remaining guard in his way and dropped to his knees. "Your highness, I mean you no harm." He pleaded dropping his head out of respect, hoping the simple gesture would stop her long enough to make her hear him out. Kas would never forgive him for giving up so easily on his life.

Silently he looked up at the Queen in confusion, his head tilting to the side slightly. For centuries him and Kas had done nothing but invite themselves into peoples homes. It was how he'd come to meet his sire in the first place. Now he was being told it was wrong? "Forgive me, it's the only way i could think of to seek quick audience with someone of your stature." He frowned, not wishing to speak ill of his sire. Just thinking of him was bad was bad enough for now.

Rik eyes scanned those around him. Though he didn't wish to speak with the others in the coven present he didn't wish to push his luck by requesting they move to a more private location. It was those he was most concerned about. "I have a proposition for you. I have no right to ask you to hear me out but if you don't like what i have to say then i won't stop you from taking my life." And as if to prove his point he held out his arms to his sides exposing his chest.

He could almost see Kas telling him to stop this foolishness but he honestly couldn't see a life without him. This was the only was he could take him mind of his maker... by seeking a new one.
