Althea always loved to go out on Friday nights after she finished her classes and the long week. She hated going to class so late, but she figured that she needed to play catch up and possibly get ahead in her medical studies. She loved her major, but at times between that and being a werewolf, life got too stressful for the young woman to handle. Thea hated living a double life of sorts, having to miss class three days a month on account of a mysterious ailment that she wasn’t sure the professors even believed her doctor’s notes. And with good reason, they were medical professionals and she was faking an illness. Well sort of. Lycanthropy could easily be considered an ailment of sorts, even in her case when she was born with it.She had decided to head to the Howling Inn in hopes of winding down, perhaps have a beer or two, and maybe even a Jack and Coke. The place never really intimidated her too much, even before she had her first change last year. Perhaps it was the fact that she knew she carried her father slash pack leader’s scent which often deterred some werewolves from really bothering her, maybe it was the fact that she often got along with the bikers and played or hustled pool with them. It was a great deal of fun for her, a slight walk on the wild side. And the petite brunette loved every second of it, the sheer thrills that came from simply being around some of the people that hung around there. Green eyes scanned the room as she made her way through the crowd to order a Jack and Coke, figuring to get a stronger drink in her system before she went to weaker forms of alcohol. Taking a sip from her glass, Althea went back to observing those around her, not for a second was she going to drop her guard. Sure she got along with a bulk of the regulars, but you never knew when someone was going to say or do something stupid. That was the downside to places like the one she was in, you never knew what was going to happen and when. But she figured that was half the excitement. Thea closed her eyes for a second as she took another pull from her drink, glad that the bartender was nice enough to make the Jack and Coke stronger than he usually did. But she knew the drink was going to weaken with the ice in the glass, not that it mattered too much to her. For now she was going to relax, enjoy the night, and see what could be offered. And hope to God, that no old man tried to touch her ass again. Inhaling deeply, Thea blinked her eyes open, a sudden alertness coming about her. Is that Aden I smell?wearing: thisnote: sorry for shortness
