Monsters are wreaking havoc unchecked. Demonic omens, lightning storms, unusual freezes, fires, and earthquakes abound all across the US- and even greater threats are looming on the horizon.

Will the brothers win? Or will they give in to their so called destiny, and let Michael and Lucifer have the final battle to decide the world's fate?

December 2009,

Hard freezes and blizzards put the eastern half of the United States at a stand still. Wild fires run rampant in the west due to the dry conditions and the harsh winds. Earthquakes shake California, with after shocks felt as far away as Texas.

Cases of diseases once unheard of are now cropping up across the globe. Avian Flu, West Nile, and in some small cities, a still unnamed virus is taking over, turning the citizen's into homicidal monsters.

In School: Dropped out recently
Year or Grade: Junior

Height: 5’2’’
Weight: 113 lbs
Hair Color: Dark Brown
Eye Color: Dark Brown
Piercings or Tattoos?: None

Personality:
Emma is guarded, and keeps her own world tucked away from view. To be let in is a huge privilege and very rare. Never does she smile or laugh, but it doesn’t make it impossible. Somewhere inside that world of hers there is hope. Emma just doesn’t know it yet. She is intelligent and very knowledgeable about many things, but usually she tries to play dumb. With a lot of self-doubt she often struggles with her own abilities as a new hunter. A new life of wandering has taught her many things like pick pocketing. Emma is stubborn and often bullheaded, not always wanting to listen to what she’s been told. Of course this is only to be expected from a young girl who hated school so much that she left. Even when she was in school, everyone perceived her to be stupid. But Emma just never did the work. She was more bored than anything else, and even with persistent teachers who saw what she was capable of, Emma wouldn’t listen. She is as stubborn as they come and won’t take no as an answer. Once her mind is hooked on an idea, there is no stopping her.

She is also a very opinionated spitfire, and usually has something to say about everything. This is usually done in that very sarcastic manner of hers. Since leaving home, she has adopted a real attitude and can’t trust anyone. Authority figures be damned, Emma doesn’t care if you’re her mother or the police. She won’t listen to anyone else but herself. But Emma is in need of a rain check and someone to look after her, this attitude of hers may just kill her one day. It’s reckless and she hardly ever thinks of the consequences. She also lacks the ability to tell the truth, even in school she came up with excuses as to why she never turned in her homework often turning it in to one big joke. But she is good at holding her own in a fight, and has always been incredibly self-dependent. She knows only to rely on herself and that is easily reflected through her personality.

This tough girl act that she puts on as a front covers what she feels on the inside. Even if Emma is as tough as nails, that doesn’t mean that she’s invincible. In fact, she can be downright scared at times trying to piece everything together. For kid she’s a strong individual who is in need of a lot of guidance, but that doesn’t mean she is without a breaking point. As much as she denies it, Emma really does want something to fight for, and reason to keep on caring. But now as a hunter she’s left everything behind even the few friends she did have.

Likes:
1. Guns and other weapons – what can say, she likes to shoot at things
2. Fighting – especially if it means taking down the supernatural
3. A good night’s sleep – this is rare and she is always running on empty

Dislikes:
1. Rules – she doesn’t need any more adults running her life
2. Being alone – she wishes she could have friends or family around but she won’t admit it
3. Warming up to people – because then she’ll wind up caring and actually give a damn

Supernatural Abilities: (for Demons and Hunters only)
1. n/a
2. n/a

Character Background:

Emma was born to Emily Charles, a woman who loved names that began with the letter E. She even once had a cat when she was a child that she named Eleanor. It was a strange concept, or so Emma believed. And her dad was a man named John Winchester, though there was never much she could say about him. She found their relationship to be strange as she grew older, and he only came around once every few months. But in the time right after she was born, he hadn’t been around at all, at least that’s what her mom had written down in her life’s journal. It was a book filled with entries and pictures of people and the places she’d been. For the most part she had a normal childhood, her mom was a beautiful woman who always had a tendency to hum while she was cleaning. Emily ran the towns Bar in Montana, and they lived in an old house not too far away. That’s where she had first met John, he had been in town for about two weeks and they seemed to get along just fine, but there was always something odd about him.

He would disappear and come right back again. When Emma was first born her mom had kept it to herself, she could’ve called John at any time but she didn’t want to bother him. Emma had realized that it was the reason he hadn’t been around for the longest time, but Emily was never any good at keeping secrets. Once John knew about it, he began making his visits, and he’d spend a lot of time with Emma. He taught her how to shoot her first gun, and sometimes even took her camping if it was a weekend. And in the moments he was there, Emma felt like it was a real family. She had both a mom and dad, and everything seemed to be alright. And when he left, Emma felt a loss, and counted the days until he’d show up again. This was all at the age of six that Emma lived in this type of world. But by the time she was only eight, she started to develop her stubborn personality. She desperately wanted to go with John on his trips, and hated be left alone to wait for him.

When Emma was only eleven she had noticed that the trips were less frequent, and her mom always carried a sad look in her eyes. She was able to understand a lot more at this age, and realized that perhaps she was moving on. This upset her, and a few months later she brought another man into the household. His name was Max, and Emma hated him the moment he walked in the door. She knew that he was replacing John, and something about him wasn’t right. A whole year had passed when her real dad returned, but something wasn’t quite right. Emma had been upstairs in her room when she’d heard a fight break , running downstairs she hear Emily shouting to stop all this fighting and that John wasn’t acting like himself. John even had a gun with him, and for a moment Emma could’ve sworn that something wasn’t right with Max’s eyes. The screaming continued and the two men went at each other, it was a frightening site for a twelve year old to see.

Something wasn’t right with Max and John was wanting to kill him. In the end Max got away and Emily had called the police, it was the last time that Emma saw her dad. She remembered him looking up at her just once with a sad expression before walking out the door. Reports were filed and Emily tried calling Max but to no avail. There was no sign of either of them. She continued to go to school, but soon her attention drifted away. At fifteen she had started failing all her classes by not turning in the work, even though she aced all the tests. It was a curious matter to the teachers but they let her move on through. At sixteen it had been years since she’d last seen her dad, and still she called him every day only to reach his voicemail.

At only seventeen Emma found her way into junior year, the very year that everything would spiral out of control. One week day morning Emma was supposed to be at home helping her mom out. But in a rebellious act she left to go hang out with her friends, leaving her mom very frustrated and upset. Emma had been the original target, but it didn’t go as planned. Upon coming home late she found the door open, inside was an absolute mess. Her home had been trashed. In the middle of the room she found her mom’s body, without thinking Emma ran to her room grabbing a bag and throwing anything she could find in it. She even managed to grab her mom’s journal but a single picture was missing. It had been a picture of her and John together sitting on the steps outside. Running downstairs she had found the picture torn in two. Only John was left in the picture, someone had torn out Emma and taken it. Someone was after her, and she knew this without a doubt now. Trying not to cry or scream, Emma ran and never looked back.
