With the return of Lord Voldemort, dark clouds gather on the horizon. There is a war coming and no one wants to believe it; except those who are witnessing it first hand. The death toll of Muggles is rising and the Minister of Magic can't look the other way anymore. It is time to unite the Muggle world and the Wizarding world. But even this brings about problems. There are people for Unification, people against Unification, people who believe You-Know-Who is back, people who don't. In all of this, students from Hogwarts are preparing for the war of their lives - as they are at the forefront of the battle.

Everything about HP goes to JKR, of course. Without her wonderful vision, there would be nothing to role play. The graphics go to their makers. The writings go to their authors. The banner up top goes to a dear friend of mine. Everything belongs to their rightful owners.

It is currently Start of Term 1996 at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The sun is still warming the grounds and you can generally get by with a t shirt and jeans - but shorts and tank tops are too little now. The castle has windows wide open to let in cool breezes and has been in preparations for the arrival of students for weeks.

plot The fire crackled in the grate in the Minister's office. The clock struck midnight and chimed its mournful tune. At the desk, an old and tired looking man sat hunched over a pile of paperwork. His eyes scanned the piece of paper -or, rather, not paper; but parchment- in front of him. The words written in a thin, slanted handwriting were words he had never wished he would have to read. Ever. But of course, the things which you dreaded the most always were bound to happen at some point in time. As the Minister read over the piece of parchment for what seemed to be the hundredth time in that hour, the one question that floated through his mind was this: How was the world going to survive this?
Somewhere near by enough to be considered London but almost completely otherworldly, a young woman sat huddled in a pub with her back to the rest of the noisy patrons. Her eyes scanned over a newspaper that would have been normal by any other means, except for the moving pictures on the front page. Idly, the woman twirled her finger in a clockwise motion of a mug of steaming tea - the spoon inside the cup moving in a counterclockwise motion around her finger. The Daily Prophet had been delivered to her hours before anyone else would get it; but that wasn't going to give her enough time to recover from the shock.
Both of these people, although human in every way, could not be more different. Although, both were of high ranking in their respective ministries - they had never come face to face before. Unfortunately for them, they are going to very soon. In fact, magical world and non-magical world alike is about to clash head on in a way they have never clashed before. A common enemy has risen between the two worlds; He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named has risen again and the Muggles and Wizards are forced to work together for the first time in history. Undoubtedly, there will be people against this - a Resistance forming in the world of Unification possibilities.
For the most part, though, both worlds will continue on as normal as possible...with the exception that now, Muggles are dying at the hands of skilled Dark wizards and for once they are not being covered up as the Muggles join hands with the Ministry of Magic and Order of the Phoenix to actually do something about Lord Voldemort's return.
