"It isin't that simple, Cyrus. It's also the fact that You can't do a single thing about it." Destruct says back, giving a good laugh.

"Are you so sure about that? You seemed to know the last time too, and look how that turned out! Humans are all flawed, Cyrus. Even you. As for the true gods? Ther only job is to make sure their home doesn't go to hell. If they need to get dirty to do so, maybe even kill off a few cites, I can't blame them."

By this point though, they'd been walking for quite a while, and destruct was getting sick of all the caves. "Alright, I've had enough of these caves."

Destruct plants himself firmly on the ground, Firing off an Aura Sphere at the wall, blowing into the next cavern. He throws another, and another. Soon, daylight was visible. In the process of this, however, he inadvertently causes a cave in, back the way they came, blocking off the Honchkrow's access to them.

If that didn't make enough noise to rouse the base, I don't know what will. "Let's go, Cyrus.Your usage of the plates is better than I thought, but your being as barbaric with power as any other human. Some target practice, maybe.."

Then, Destruct grins wickedly. "How about a trip to Sunnyshore?"

"If humans are flawed, then so are the gods. They have the power to fix the universe, and yet they choose not to, content to sit back and watch meaningless suffering and strife happen. I will take the actions that should have been taken a very long time ago." The two continue walking through the mountain, and Destruct starts blasting the walls apart until they reach the outside world.

"I only seek power for the purpose of bettering the universe. Others simply want it for selfish reasons, and thus abuse the power they have without any concern for the consequences of their actions."

Wait, Sunyshore? How... did Destruct know? Regardless, this was out of the question. Cyrus had avoided Sunyshore during his plans in Sinnoh for a good reason. If he had to go back there and face his parents... "No. I am not going back to that place. I have no idea as to how you know my history, but I will not go back to Sunyshore regardless.

Mars, who was sitting on a couch and reading a magazine in the main room of the hideout, was growing increasingly concerned about a series of loud noises coming from the hallway. After a particularly loud crashing noise, Mars decided enough was enough and ran down the hallway and stopped at Cyrus' lab. Could the source of the noise be here?

"What the hell happened here?!" Mars exclaimed aloud after opening the door to find a huge hole in the wall along with Cyrus' Honchkrow. "Where's Cyrus? Why is there a hole in the wall? Is he okay?" Mars' tone was becoming increasingly worried with each question. Oh god, what if something really did happen to him?

"All i remember. Is some Deoxys in here. And Cyrus punching me." Honchkrow said weak. He than pointed a wing at the big hole. "I think they went in there." He said. Hopefully they can save Cyrus.

There was the reaction he was hoping for. "You seem to forget, Cyrus, that you don't get as far as you or I do without learning about the people around you. The fact that you don't want to go there makes me want to take you there even more!"

Destruct picks up Cyrus by the back of his shirt, and begins floating out of the hole he made. "Let's go pay a visit, shall we? Not like you have any choice in the matter."


"I can agree with you on one thing, however, Cyrus." Destruct says, pausing mid-flight.

"The gods don't give a damn about this world. That just means all the more for me, then!" Destruct shouts, laughing maniacally.

Yeah, Destructeoxys is now, truly, powermad.

Before Cyrus could even reply to Destruct's statement, Destruct had already picked him up and pulled him off of Mount Coronet. Panic immediately set in, Destruct was pushing Cyrus to his death below. No, Cyrus still had his Gyarados and Crobat, not to mention the Sky Plate, there was no need to worry. Oh, wait, it seemed that Destruct was still carrying Cyrus through the air, not trying to push him to his death. Cyrus felt kind of silly for making an assumption, but no matter.

Cyrus reaches a hand to his belt, considering trying to send out another Pokemon. No, that would only get him into more trouble, Cyrus already had been forced to attack his Honchkrow. No, there had to be some other way out of this... Well, whatever the solution was, it certainly wouldn't happen here and now. Cyrus simply glared over at Destruct and tried to mentally prepare himself to once again meet his parents.

Mars was a bit confused after the Honchkrow's explanation. "Who... a Deoxys? You couldn't possibly mean that one working with Hunt, could you?" Oh yes, Destruct, was it? Mars remembered clear as day how Cyrus had ingested what the Deoxys had claimed was a "cure" the day that Cyrus had been poisoned in the fight against Plasma.

"You say that they went through that hole in the wall? I knew that Deoxys was trouble, but I had no idea exactly what he could do with that piece of himself. I need to go and look for them... or is that completely hopeless now? I mean, they could be halfway across Sinnoh by now. I know! I'll go talk to Hunt. Come with me, maybe he'll know something about this."

With that, Mars left the room with the door open and walked towards Hunt's laboratory.

And Honchkrow followed Mars out the door. Hoping that she and Hunt can stop destruct. And save Cyrus.
