Now that he had obtained Pseudo's location, somewhere underneath Black City, and gotten enough power to take what he needed by force, it was time to stage the raid.

Destruct walks through the halls, ignoring most of the looks of the grunts, to Cyrus's office, knocking a few times on the door.

Cyrus got up from the project he was working on and answered the door. "So, I take it that you are ready for our chat?" Cyrus asked, after opening the door to reveal Destruct. "Come in."

"Don't worry, it shouldn't take long." Destruct said, going in and closing the door behind him.

"You remember how I told you about the other Deoxys I'm looking for? We'll I've found him, finally. He's underground in Black City, being used as a power source. You, yourself, are going to assist me in fetching him, as it seems theres something there that even the deoxys fears. Even for him, Pseudo, that's no small feat."

If Destruct was asking for help, flat-out stating that Cyrus was going to assist him was a funny way of doing it. Nonetheless, Destruct had helped Cyrus with Tabanna, so he would be willing to return the favor by helping Destruct out a bit, but only if it didn't directly put Cyrus in danger.

"You say you want help with finding another Deoxys? I could help to an extent, but I'm sorry to say that I will not go to Black City myself, as besides being an internationally wanted criminal, I can currently only do so much with the plates and do not want to be heavily injured yet again." Yeah, the last time Cyrus had left the base to fight somebody, he ended up getting mauled by a Garchomp.

"Oh, don't worry, your control over the plate's won't matter too much." Destruct says, with a bit of a monotone.

"In fact, I've been thinking on a few things, Cyrus. I've watched how this planet has changed, grown, fallen, and grow once more. I've seen things that would make your human bones rattle. So, I thought to myself 'these humans could be useful...very useful'"

He takes a seat in Cyrus's chair, and continues. "To put it simply, I've changed my goa. I'm going to take what I came here for, use it to bring all Deoxii here, and rule this planet. I think I shall start with you first."

Destruct, points at Cyrus, forcing his psychic energies at the tip.

"Activate"

That was the cue, for the millions upon millions of bits of Destruct, scattered throughout cyrus, and filled with an extremely deadly form of Toxic, to begin their alteration of his DNA.

"Hmm. I doubt that you have seen anything that could even close to scare me, as I have come to fear nothing. I'm different from most other humans... and by the time I make them more like me, I will still be different, as I will be their God. The experiments Team Galactic conducted... I am fairly sure that I was one of the only ones not perturbed at some level, if not the only one."

Cyrus stood still, his eyes following Destruct as the living space virus went to sit down. "Take over the word, starting with me?" Cyrus repeated. "Do you really think that you even begin to stand a chance against me in combat, With both the plates and my Pokemon by my side?" Cyrus took his Honchkrow's Pokeball off of his belt, and pressed the button on it, releasing the bird into the room.

"Destruct, you have made a grave mistake by attempting to-" This is as far as Cyrus' sentence got before Destruct's psychic energy took effect and Cyrus fell to his hands and knees, glaring up at Destruct. "What are you- I..." Cyrus tired desperately to get back on his feet, but fell back down to the floor, unconscious.

And so Honchkrow came out the ball. He must be out to do some battling. So he looks over to Cyrus waiting for the move to be called out. But he's out cold. So he stares at the Deoxys. Ready for battle.

"There are pokemon that existed before your time, that the human race will never see again, Cyrus. They make this Century's Pokemon look like a swarm of runts."

"When I first met you, I was surprised that a human had obtained such power, with so much intelligence. Well, when you ate that part of me I gave you for your poison..."

"I knew you were as dull as the rest. I'm made of pure DNA, you fleshling! Eating something like that would only mutate you further!" Destruct says, laughing heartily. I don't know if you ever heard something with no voice laugh, but god damn it is a hell of a sound.

Destruct goes over, completely ignoring the Honchkrow, and leans down, so Cyrus can hear. "Right now, that ball I fed, or rather, you ate, has multiplied into just about as many bloodcells you have, and each has a mutated strain of toxic that will kill you in seconds, should I choose to release it. But I won't." He stands back up, looking at the bird.

"Now stand, Cyrus. I wish to see how well the plates work. Attack your pathetic bird with a fist packed with the Icicle plate and Zap Plate. But don't kill it, as I want you to see how futile it is to resist your now-altered thought patterns via my DNA mutations."

The first part of what Destruct said barely registered with Cyrus, as he was just regaining consciousness at the moment, but he understood what the Deoxys was saying well enough. It seemed that Mars had been right not to trust Destruct.

It seemed that every time Cyrus enlisted somebody as an ally, they just turned around and betrayed him. Saturn, Ghetsis, and now Destruct... How long before the others started considering the same thing? Cyrus should have done this all on his own to begin with... except there wasn't much he could have done alone. Then again, he should have been more careful, as villains all seem to have chronic backstabbing disorder.

Rethinking his allegiances would have to wait, however, as Destruct had just ordered Cyrus to get up, and seemed to be saying that he could easily kill Cyrus should he disobey Destruct's orders. Cyrus then slowly got to his feet, wondering if what the Deoxys said was really true. Not wanting to take chances, Cyrus turned to face his Honchkrow ready to follow Destruct's orders.

Cyrus may not want to admit it to even himself, but he did feel pretty bad about what he was being ordered to do. Sure, that Honchkrow was generally used to take hits for Cyrus... but something about outright attacking the bird just didn't sit well with Cyrus. Still, orders were orders, and if Cyrus wanted to live to see the end of this whole situation, he might not have a choice.

After glaring at Destruct and uttering "As you wish..." through gritted teeth, Cyrus turned his attention back to his Honchkrow. Without another word nor a warning, Cyrus pulled back his fist and aimed a Zap and Icicle Plate-backed punch at his own Pokemon. Hopefully, Honchkrow would be able to get away and warn Mars and the others before it became too late for Cyrus, but even that seemed hopeless at the moment.

Honchkrow sees his owner about to Attack him. He thought "why is he doing this?" As he flew up but nope he got Ice-Thunder punched. he adjusted his hat He started wondering why would he do this. He struggles to get up and break the door. Hoping to get to Mars.

Destruct sees the bird flailing against the door, laughing to himself. "Good, good! I'm glad you realise how powerless you truly are. Now then, I'll be moving this wall out of the way..." Destruct says, aiming one hand at Cyrus, forcing him to use the Mind Plate to amplify Destruct's power, as he aims a Psycho Boost at the far wall.

As the punch connected with the bird's body, Cyrus felt an awful sensation in his gut. This was completely necessary for Cyrus' survival, and the bird was just a Pokemon, and yet... No. Sentimentality had nothing to do with this, and Cyrus was not going to feel bad for something he had to do to survive this.

However, Cyrus had little time to work on repressing his feelings, as he now found himself using the Mind Plate to help Destruct make a hole in the wall. With the added power, the Psycho Boost blew apart the back wall, revealing nothing but darkness. The base was deep inside Mount Coronet, so Destruct may have to navigate his way out of the mountain before leaving.

"Wonderful! Let's go then, before your subordinates get here, as I rather fancy the idea of having a group of grunts." Destruct says, pushing Cyrus to go first.


As to why he's not just teleporting out? The boost from the Mind Plate would probably send them out over the ocean, or some shit. "So Cyrus, what WAS your motivation for trying to create a new universe this time around, after your last attempt failed? I had heard of some moron thinking he could control time and space, but didn't give it much thought."

Yes, Destruct is purposely provoking Cyrus while he can do nothing back. Cyrus has done nothing wrong, Destructeoxys is just a dick like that.

Cyrus suddenly got pushed through the hole in the wall, and fell flat on his face in the cave beyond it. As he got back on his feet, Destruct started taunting him about his goals, acting as if trying to use the powers that be to fix the universe was actually a bad thing. Don't mind that, just keep walking. It's not worth risking your-

"If you think that being a Deoxys gives you some sort of superiority against me, think again." Cyrus retorted, completely disregarding the power over the situation that Destruct had. He also would have turned around and glared at Destruct, but the mutated Deoxys' psychic energy seemed to be stopping Cyrus from doing so.

"I will have you know that I know exactly what I'm dealing with in re-creating the universe, and the fact that I was born a human means nothing. The gods were simply born with an advantage, they have nothing that I can't earn. What I have learned about the gods further supports my beliefs. If the gods are just as emotionally prone and easily corruptible as any human, then why should they alone have power over the universe?"

Honchkrow was on the ground struggling to rise up. How could he do this? Honchkrow started to flap his wings. Even though he just hurt him. Cyrus was his friend. Even if he was being conttolled or not. So he starts following the trail. Hoping to get to Cyrus.
