The Houses at BTWT

Overview
When you join you will be sorted into a house by an admin. The way I've done this is sort of by style of writing rather than skill. I see it as starting out as a beginner and moving up. This is to help you grow as a writer and not to ostracise you. It's the admin's opinion as to which house you belong in. The houses, of course, may roleplay with others from other houses but also may form roleplays within themselves. Certain things you can do may earn points for your house - it's somewhat like Hogwarts - except that points generally won't be taken away.

The Birch House

Those of the Birch House have a tendency to focus their writing around the feelings, mood and thoughts of their characters and the settings. The emotions of their character are strongly shown through their writing and the writing tends to be based around their character's objectives and goals, rather than outwardly appearance or physical movements.

The Maple House

Those of the Maple House tend to focus their writing around the spoken dialogue of characters. Each spoken word matters and they often have their character speak often and then focus around what has been said. Not only is the said dialogue important but so are those hidden words that are not said.

The Willow House

Those of the Willow House are action based roleplayers. Their writing shows scenes with a lot of action and the writing is focused around the action that it occurring in the scene, rather than the description of the character. As well as being about the action going on to the character it's what's going on around them and it's impact on the person.

The Oak House

Those of the Oak house spend their time describing everything, from the setting to the character itself. These writers are very focused on making an intense visual picture and making sure that you can see what they are writing about. It is vital for these characters to describe everything.
