Feb 16, 2009 Liah - Yay, a new update that isn't gold. >.> So, welcome all new members, and yay for all old members. As you can see we have a new board, I'thicus. Join it, make some roleplays, join some other roleplays. I'm sorta here but not really for the next little bit, but I'll be back. I updated points and we have two new staff members, Blake & Eden. We are also having an activity check that ends March 1st. POST FOR GOODNESS SAKE, or we'll delete you. It's in the announcements folder.

Who knows?! Maybe your art work will end up on the site somewhere important! And you get a decent amount of points for it as well! Let's show those other houses up!

Jan 11, 2009: Liah - Welcome to BTWT! This is the first of I'm sure, many updates you'll see on here. Firstly I'd like to thank you and welcome you to BTWT. Anyways, mostly everything is finished right now. In the past week we've added money accounts (for points, view the points board), as well as a point pet shop, awards and member lists, to list a few. We're still just new though, but crazy active. Congrats guys, I've never seen a board grow so quickly! Keep up the awesome work. :) Shout out to Dani who has advertised on a total of... 112 sites. WOAH.

A Quick Summary...
Beneath the Willow Tree (BTWT) is a general roleplaying site. This means that you join as yourself so your general writing is being accepted and once you've joined, you can roleplay in any sort of genre you want. Thus, you can create your own plot, land, story, anything you want. It's all in your hands.

A Longer Synopsis...
I find a lot that I have times when I want to roleplay but I have no one to post with. Or, I want to roleplay with someone and MSN just isn't enough. This is my cure, my antidote for it. BTWT is a freelance roleplaying site where you can do just about anything. You begin by choosing a genre or category. If it isn't exactly there (for example Rabid Bunny Roleplaying) then go with the closest possible thing (Animal Roleplay). From there you set up your situation and you can invite people to join.

Feel free to do just one on ones with people too. You may also completely set up your own situation or roleplay here. So, if you desperately want your own roleplay board for lets say, your mythical world of Argeh ask an admin. Chances are they'll let you. You have limitless boundaries. There are no plots to follow unless you make it and everything is spontaneous. If you're wary about something ask, and we'll clear it up.
