General Rules

Minimum post is one paragraph

This means that each post should be AT LEAST 3-7 sentences long. Talk about what's around you, what's happening, how you feel. That way you give the other people who are roleplaying with you a sufficient amount to work with and post back.

PG-13 - 18A Rating

So that means I'd prefer to have people over 13, but if you're under and you think you're mature enough, it's your choice. I just don't want your mummies running to me and screaming about how I let her little babykins witness a character getting killed. Seriously, I don't want to deal with your mums.

Respect is key; show it to everyone

You need to be nice to everyone. That doesn't mean you have to LIKE everyone, but if you're going to make someone's life horrible, just leave. We don't want that. Also, please respect your admins/mods. If they make a decision you don't particularly like, ask them but do it nicely. We aren't out to get you, but we do have to make sure everyone follows the rules.

Listen to the Admin's

Contrary to popular belief we're not all that scary. Most of you will get to know us pretty well. We're nice and we do things to help the site and to help you. Generally if we tell you to do something or not do something it's because it's against the rules. Don't fret too much about it.

No harassment, or bullying is tolerated

I don't like it. You don't like it. It's not nice. If you're not allowed to bully at school, why would I let you here?

You can swear

I don't really care. Just nothing excessive. All of you have heard all these words on the playground before, I'm sure. Plus, if you're joining you should already know about our PG-13 - 18A rating, no? Mum, I'm not sheltering your little Timmy from swears.

Sex, drugs, alcohol are all fair game

Goes with the above rule. Just make sure you warn us in your title so that the younger members, or more conservative members don't accidentally stumble into something they're uncomfortable with. So long as you've got that then make babies, snort cocaine, and get smashed off your mind all you want. Happens in real life, happens on the site.

Please do not spam on the C-Box

If you do, I will ban your IP, hands down. What I mean by spamming is posting the same message over and over again. Also, don't link other boards to your name PLEASE, unless you talked about it with the admins. It's kinda rude.

Please do not use chat speak

First off, it's annoying, and this is a forum focused around writing which means good grammar and spelling. Things like, BRB, LOL, G2G, etc are fine... but no talking like a 10 year old. Along this same line spell check and grammar check your work, please.

Do not mix OOC and IC

You have no idea how important this is. Basically this means... "Oh I don't like Timmy so all my characters are going to hate Timmy too and go out and kill his characters." See the dilemna in that?

Don't bother people for posts

A gentle reminder for a post is nice, but getting on someone's back about not posting isn't okay. If they haven't posted perhaps they're really busy. Also, if you find that you ARE really busy and cannot post either tell the people you're roleplaying with, and they can skip over you, or post on the leaving board.

Maintain a posting order

Basically this means that there should be an order for who posts. So Bob, Sally, Fred, Bob, Sally, Fred. If someone new comes in, add them in. It shouldn't be Bob posting after every single post though.

Do not pretend to be another person

This is called imping, and you will be warned. Ahh! You have no idea how much I hate this, and it generally happens in the C box. I can check your IP and I will. Seriously, don't do it.

Please, go ahead and use tables

Just DON'T stretch the board! Same with graphics. The maximum width is 600px. Also, for tables and posts, please don't make the colours blinding... I'd like to be able to see when I'm older. Also if you don't know how to make a table, ask. Don't steal someone's code. I guarantee they won't be happy about it.

If you have a good idea suggest it

Chances are the admins will listen. We generally want your opinions and ideas anyways so we can make the site better. What good is a site without the member input?

If we screw up your points tell us nicely

Don't accuse us of cheating you out of them. Most likely we either forgot, or tallied wrong. This is why you should be tallying your own points and either post them on the right board or PM them to Arohkien, or ALL the admins.

The rules are liable to change

I edit them all the time. Adding, taking away, expanding. So look back on them every so often, but usually you'll be told in an announcement what/if we've changed anything.
