Big Things Have Small Beginnings is a neo-noir scifi RPG, based on the works of Ridley Scott (think: the brilliant mind behind the films Alien, Blade Runner, and Prometheus). We're set in the year 2093, thirty years before Ripley's ship took off. Weyland Industries, the face of new technology and advanced space travel, funded Project Prometheus. They set out to discovered the origins of mankind...and found so much more. Mankind is now reeling with the new discovery. Meanwhile, infections are spreading in other colonies, the military outpost is training in the event of an alien attack, and rescue ships have been sent out to find Prometheus. The space race is over; now, it's a race for survival.

UPDATED.I believe the Deacon and the creature Shaw birthed are the same...but I could be wrong? Kitty might have to whack me upside the head for that one if I'm completely off.
- Boots
According to more accurate sources, the creature Shaw birthed (the Trilobite) is dead. But who really knows for certain? The Deacon, which came from the Trilobite and The Engineer, is still alive, running around.

I've looked everywhere and I can't seem to find it, so I'm sorry if the answer is lurking around! When was Belleprophen Industries created, and when was the first Andrew (if there is more) created/produced?

Freya! Hi there! I'm "The Phoenix" on RPG (Boots here), and welcome to the board! I'm sorry it took me so long to respond to your question, I didn't even see it here! To answer you, nope! There's nothing more you need to know. I'm excited to have another Atlas crew member! If anything, I would read the EXTRA INFORMATION and the different SUBPLOTS. Other than that, you're good to go! Feel free to let us know if you have any other questions, either in here or in the c-box!
Thank you for your answer. It wasn't a long time especially because of Christmas/holidays.
Are there any other possibilities to find out more about the situation on earth (living conditions, political situation, …)? Could be important for my characters story/CV. I'm not sure how much story is necessary. Your application form differs a little from those I had to use in German RPGs.
I think I will have the time to make the character after Christmas days. Till then I wish you Merry Christmas and/or happy Holidays.

Definitely! Earth, as it currently stands, has a couple defining characteristics. Humans have taken a toll on the environment, making it highly polluted. The technology race is huge--akin to the space race or the nuclear race. Countries are divided with respect to their tech-skills. China develops a lot of the tech and America takes a lot of the credit (same old, same old).
A lot of people have moved on to other colonies to take advantage of the work opportunities there. The people that stay on earth usually stay for nostalgic value or because they can't afford to leave. News of evidence of our "creators" on LV-223 really shook Earth, especially the religious fractions. Religious riots are common in lesser policed states. Police and military presence is heavy in "high risk" areas.
On the flip side, Weyland Industries has its headquarters on Earth, as do many other major technology companies and android factories. There's a pretty large gap between the wealthy and the poor.
Those are all the details I can think up at the moment, but let me know if you have any more specific questions! And happy holidays to you too! Happy brainstorming!

So uh, where are the "Other Locations" in regards to the Prometheus?
Like, my understanding of the movie was that the planet was OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, thereby severely limiting the rescue chances! If not reducing them to nothing. But, I'm assuming that these other locations aren't entirely random. Or maybe they are!
Please elaborate on the crew's understanding of rescue chances!
