In the ancient Realm of demons, Kurai, there exist four kingdoms, each ruled by a powerful Demon Lord. However, one being exists that rules even they: the King. The Throne has been vacated for millennia, and none alive remember the last reigning King.

However, the fabled Silver Throne is no longer empty. Chamenos Bloodreign, the darker soul of the War demon Solan Fallenskye, has seized power. And he is not content with simply ruling the Demon Realm - this destructive, power-hungry devil seeks to unite all Realms under his control.

In a twisted web of deception, fear and nightmarish power, the fate of all unfolds before our eyes. Chamenos has since united two of the four Demon Lords under his control, and is soon to have a third. Felnova gathers its allies against this terrible foe, but anarchy threatens to tear everything asunder. He now seeks to separate all Realms from eachother; cut off all aid, destroy the bonds between nations. Every Marker and its Guardian is at risk.

We must rise to combat this menace; else everything shall fall to its destruction!

Darkness comes and the light fades. It is the natural order of the world and for life. Light comes to hide the darkness, but one day, it will lose its hold and darkness returns once more. Nothing could stop it; nothing could prevent it, or was there?

A red moon was the only light in the sky and even that was weak against the black mass. Stars were not even visible on this hot humid night. Clouds drifted across the sky, but blended into the darkness that was the heavens. Not even the outlines of the clouds could be seen unless they were fortunate enough to cross the blood red moon. Under the moon bathed in the darkness was a single man. His footsteps seem to echo on the empty street as he walked in the limited light of the moon. Cloaked in black giving him the appearance of blending in with the night. Seeming to disappear for one second and reappearing another.

The sounds of a whisper could be heard coming from him, but his lips did not move. It was an iPod making the sound, but the ear plugs hung around his neck suggesting that he had the volume on high. A smile was on his lips as he walked, and blood soaked the edge of his cloak. Across his back were two large swords that had blood dripping off the bottom and down his cloak. A small trail of blood was left in his wake from his boots and cloak. It mattered not; there were more unusual things in this town than a little blood here and there. Not that anyone would know better since a storm was on the way. He could feel it in the humidity and soon it would wash away the blood. No one would be the wiser of what had occurred here tonight, only those who knew the victim could ever suspect things. Rumors would soon spread, but there was always a way of silencing them.

Turning down a dark street that had only one street lamp, the man proceeded on a walk that he had become so use to that he could do it in his sleep. Without a looking down, he turned his iPod to the next song not having liked the one that came on.

A dog barked in the distance, but he paid it no heed. It was close to four o’clock in the morning and most people where in bed. The dog was a nuisance, but nothing more. He could hear its jaws snapping as it bit at the chain length fence that help it captive, but it still could not reach the man. He turned to look at the strange animal and promised to bring him a meal neck time, but in that moment the light caught his eyes. A medium to light blue in color and with the light it had an odd silver tint. Blood stained his face, and lips. Amusement shone in his eyes as he passed by the creature and made his way down the poorly lit street.

As the unfamiliar man continued walking down the street a stream of white mist began to envelope the street behind behind him. The lights of the street lamps that lit the streets began to flicker in and out before eventually burning out permanently. A rush of wind blowing down the street causing the leaves to rustle.

*The blood of innocent people stains your hands,* came a quiet voice in the mans' mind. Slowly the mist that had consumed the streets began to part, and a bare footed figure materialized in the center of the street. His pale blue eyes glancing up at the back of the retreating figure. You must repent for the crimes you have committed.

The mysterious man slowly took a step forward the ground crumbling beneath his feet. Reiatsu flaring lowly around the man, and his eyes narrowed a bit. His medium length white hair matched the pale complexion of his skin, and also the hue of the clothes he was wearing. An all white outfit with hues of gold in the stitching. *You will repent*, the voice said again, this time it sounded like a blend of voices, demonic of sorts.

Perhaps if he had turned he would have seen the mist, but he didn’t. Instead he kept walking as if nothing was wrong. He had indeed noticed the lights flickering in and out, but he chose to ignore it as he did the wind. Only when the lights went out did he bother to stop, but he knew what was happening before it did. He just was sure where the source was.

The voice in his head was rather annoying, but it spoke the truth. He had killed but the innocence of the people he killed was up for debate. No one he killed was without reason and to him it was a justified killed. He could hear a footfall behind him and he turned to see the man who had disturbed him on this night. His eyebrow rose as he took in the mains appearance and wondered what the guy was doing out in the open like that. It was obvious he was only trying to stand out in all the white clothing.

“Repent, eh?” A smile touched the man’s lips and he walked closer towards the newcomer. “And vo vould my punisher be? You?” He laughed as if he found the thought amusing and pulled one of the swords from his back. “Can I get a name before ve begin?”

The man tilted his head to the side as he watched the other draw out the blade. Slowly his features began to darken a bit. His entire appearance beginning to shift as he took another step forward towards the man. "My name.." he murmured. His blue eyes darkening to a shade of of gray, and a glint of blood lust could be seen in those murky depths. "My name is," he said quietly, taking another step forward.

White locks of hair slowly being colored over by a dark hue of black. A pale hand coming up, and ruffling his now black hair. The white attire he was wearing began to corrode away as well. His legs now covered by a pair of black jeans, his feet still bare, the muscles of his chest and stomach were clearly visible. The only piece of fabric that somewhat covered his now bare chest was a tattered and bloodstained silver scarf.

With the sudden change complete the stranger slowly took a step forward, and then in the blink of an eye he was gone. "Orphan," came the quiet response. The words carried by the wind, and he didn't give the other much time react.

Pale fingers clamping down on the sword bearers shoulder, and with a burst of energy he threw the murder back into the nearest light post. The street light buckling under the pressure of impact, and it slowly fell down to the side.

Was this man nuts? The man was not sure, but he seemed determined to come after him. A laughed edged on his lips as he watched him approach. He could hear the man repeating the same line as if a prayer. The blue eyed stranger pushed back his hood to reveal blond and black hair. His face was a light brown and redish-brown tattoos could be seen coming around his the back of his neck.

He noted the change in the man’s appearance and confusion filtered over his face as he watched him. Somehow the man’s voice and now his appearance were completely different. What in the hell was up with this guy? He was about to reach for his second blade when the man finally said his name and his hand froze half way. He never heard of him, but he had a feeling he would not be allowed to forget him. The man’s clothing seemed to disappear into thin air and the man drew his own cloak tighter around him. Whatever this guy was, he was no laughing matter.

“Orphan…” The name felt odd on his lips, but barely did it leave them before hands touch his shoulders and he felt himself being flung backwards into a light post. Little did the other man know, that the stranger had made the pole fall not from impact, but from his own magic to soften the blow. He laughed and part of the metal from the street post flowed onto his free hand making claw like swords coming off his hand. He kept the weapon hidden in the sleeve of his cloak. “Interesting. Mind telling me vat zat vas?”

Orphan to the moment to look the other male older. Suddenly his blank expression became much more alive. A small smile creeping upon his lips. Dark strands of hair falling in front of his face as he tilted his head. "Well, what a rare creature I have stumbled upon," he murmured. He slowly took another step forward towards the man- his hand slowly returning to his side as he stepped forward.

As he continued to advance slowly reiatsu began to swirl around his feet. The black hued spirit energy coiling, and snaking around his feet with every step he took. "What a rare sight. I thought the Mythkin race was all but extinct," he said, his smile widening a bit. The street lamps flickering and burning out as he continued to walk. "You wish to know what that was? Well, I will not supply you with the answer," he stated, dully.

He was only a few strides away from the man he had identified as a Mythkin. His pale hand slowly coming up in front of him. "Yes, you're blood will work nicely for the Awakening," he said, talking to himself just a bit.

"Acnologia..."

Suddenly, the reiatsu that was swirling around his feet expanded. The black energy creating a vortex as it expanded engulfing everything within its reach. The plant life began to wither and die away, the metal light posts began to erode as it was touched by the man's reiatsu, even the building and houses began to crumble away, and lastly even small animals turned to nothing more then ash. The reiatsu continuing to expand, and heading in the direction of the Mythkin, but before it reached him, it faded.

Standing in the middle of all the decaying life around them Orphan just let a small chuckle fall from his lips. His murky gray eyes glinting read as he gazed upon the other male. "Without metal you're defenseless. If I do remember correctly, that's your races primary weapon of choice."

The Mythkin raised an eyebrow at the man before him and smirked. “Oh you are sadly mistaken, my friend.” His swords were still whole, but he let them fall to the ground. He would not need them for this job.

His body begun to blur and he grew in size. Spike protruded from his body, fur grew outwards and where once a man stood was a large Rathar. His long teeth could easily cut through the man known as Orphan clean without much effort. His fur was black, and on his head were the same blonde fringes that could be seen in his human form. Along his back, neck, and front legs ran those eerie markings that appeared like tattoos to people who didn’t know better.

His paws slid forward and he sneered at the man. Fourteen foot long, and almost fifteen foot tall he was a sight to see. If any human looked out of their window now they might believe themselves still asleep because the creature in the street was of myth. His metallic eyes gleamed as he watched his opponent.

He begun to circle Orphan as he took him in, his head lowered to where one of his eyes was leveled with his. His large tail swished dangerously closed to him to allow the black haired boy to see the large spikes. *Perhaps you should do better research before you assume tings about tings you just don’t understand, boy*.

The display of power shown had impressed the Mythkin, yes, but it had not scared him off. He had been hunting here for years and that was not going to change just because someone dared to try to stop him. No, he would not go down without a fight not after he just feasted.

Orphan simply looked up at the Rathar with the same bored expression written across his face. The man, however did take a small step back. He cocked his head to the side as he examined the creature before him, and a small hint of a smirk played along his lips. "Ah, that is why I was sent here to observe you," he murmured. "Time for him to come and collect you then. You'd make a nice specimen for his research," he said, quietly.

He slowly raised his hand in front of him, and let his fingers runs across the empty space in front of him. The space he had touch slowly began to pull back in a tile like formation as a portal opened before them. "Heh, good thing its a full moon. It'll be easier for him to wrangle you in," he stated.

Everything was quiet for about five minutes, but the sound of footsteps could faintly be heard as a figure approached the end of the portal. Orphan stepped to the side as a young boy finally stepped through the make shift portal. Light green hair falling in front of his face, and dark blue eyes downcast to where he was looking at the ground. "He'll be your wrangler, beast," came Orphan's quiet voice. "I dare you to attack him," the man taunted, a slight hint of amusement in his voice.

The boy remained quiet and only took another step towards the Rathar in question. "Try not to make a mess, Xaros."

The beast swung its head and snarled at the newcomer. Fangs gleamed in the moonlight and his fur sticking out every which way. The other one was powerful, but this one. Something about the newcomer upset him and he wasn’t sure exactly what. It was not so much that he feared him; he just knew something was off about him. And that comment about the full moon, it was rather odd all things considering.

His large tail lashed out at Orphan’s head, spikes coming for his head and his body lunged forward towards Xaros. If it had to be this way, then so be it. He would take them both. Claws touched the ground, and his body moved like a smooth oiled machine that had years of practice. Ears were flat against his head.

Teeth snapped at the small boy going for a killing bite. Snapping for the head, wanting to crush it inside of his jaws like a balloon. The ground shook as metal hidden deep in the ground begun to rise. The Mythkin was going to fight.
