Hi Shakespeare here.

I just want to say thank you to your club's membership for supporting the Ford Day at Shakespeare County. It certainly looked as though you were all enjoying yourselves last Sunday. Congrats to all the trophy winners. Here's the main results with the top 5 placings. See you guys next year.

Power Torque Racing Ford Day Results @ Shakespeare County Raceway
Quickest Front Wheel Drive
1. FWD5T Nick Drake (2003 Ford Focus RS) 13.492/106.85
2. FWD7A A Whitlock (ASW Ford Focus) 13.590/112.40
3. FWD5A S. Collins (Ford Escort RST) 13.995/100.92
4. FWD8T P. Reeves (Ford Fiesta XR2) 13.997/101.99
5. FWD1A Rob Corless (2002 Ford Focus RS) 14.079/100.29

Quickest Rear Wheel Drive
1. RWD4T Jeff Thurston ('66 Ford Mustang Notchback) 9.783/138.21
2. RWD2T Barry Payne (Ford Escort MK1) 11.124/120.72
3. RWD14A J. Manaders (Ford) 11.306/123.06
4. RWD1A N. Tedbury (Ford) 11.570/119.70
5. RWD3T Jason Elvy/Jason Elvy Jnr (Ford Escort MK2) 11.905/112.45

Quickest Four Wheel Drive
1. 4WD1A Stephen Whitlock (Ford Escort Cosworth) 14.540/96.85
2. 4WD1T Alan Bradshaw (Ford Sierra 4x4) 17.329/77.29

NB: For the second time in succession Nick Drake has taken the coveted Front Wheel Drive category win with a 13.492 to last years time of 13.725. Looks like Nick has been tinkering under the bonnet in the last 12 months and his efforts had paid off.
