∞ If the above rule is not applicable, register with your characters FIRST & LAST name in proper capitalization { John Smith }. ∞ If you require a name change, don't worry. Name Change Request page. ∞ You are allowed up to 3 characters without administrator approval, however you must have at least 15 quality in-character posts with each character before you are permitted to make a new one. Also, to gain permission to have more than three characters will require a discussion with the admins to make certain that you an keep up with your selection. Activity is important, so be careful not to overwhelm yourself. ∞ We do not permit Mary-Sues, or Gary-Stus on this board, so please fill out your application accordingly. ∞ Non-Canon characters are only allowed ONE or TWO abilities, unless the abilities go together. Canon characters get more then this because they are more important. Unless the original's abilities are written strongly, then we might consider accepting. ∞ Should you decide to kill off one of your characters for any reason, please inform an administrator so their biography can be archived in application heaven. On the other hand, we do not allow canon characters to be killed off. You can, however, give them up. ∞ There is a password, but having learned from experience that people click on the rules only to locate it, the password has been better hidden, so keep your eyes peeled. It is important to us that our members are informed and familiar with the rules. ∞ Don't just register and leave, if you leave please take accountability for yourself and let us know so we can remove your profile(s) and character extras. ∞ Finally, when posting your application, be mindful to post it in the correct forum. If you are posting a work in progress, post it in the unfinished profiles forum. When its done you can reply to it, or tell a staff member, and it will be moved into pending to be reviewed. On the other hand, if you're posting a completed form, post it in the pending forum. ∞ We don't allow power-playing or god-modding unless it is a neutral agreement between everyone involved in the thread. However, we do have that special phrase that we warned you about in the beginning of this topic... Tricky aren't we? The pass phrase is 'Rotten eggs and the safety of mankind'. ∞ We understand that the real world can get really hectic, and that members might need to take a hiatus from time to time. So our post rate is really relaxed here. We recommend posting at least once per week, but if you tell the staff your situation (if there is one) this rule can be exceedingly lenient. Real life is always more important than a forum, so do not hesitate to declare an absence when you need to. Nobody is going to execute you for having a real life. ∞ The official forum rating is M/R, which means the possibilities of language, drug use, sexuality, innuendo, alcohol are permitted. In regards to mature threads and sex, a fade-to-black rule is in effect. This means that sexual subjects can be hinted at, but not graphic. If you want to go further take it elsewhere. (Not on the forums). 
∞ All avatars are required to be 160x250. You're more than welcome to request an avatar from our staff if this is an issue. Please note that there is also a chance that graphics become uniform in the not so distant future. Meaning, everyone would have a similar style. ∞ No signature should be larger than 500x150.
