Lex Luthor achieved his greatest ploy; he has been elected as President of the United States. Change was the premise he ran on, change that people could believe in. This change was supposed to keep the people of the world safer and better off. Instead, it has become the median through which he pursues his anti-hero sentiments by stripping them slowly and steadily of their rights. Since the debut of the superheroes there has been a great deal of fear and mistrust surrounding them and the effects of their operations. They get blamed as the cause of the super villains’ actions.

The hero community will be hit from all sides and every angle in the years of Luthor’s presidency as he plays up to the populace’s fear to keep himself in power and able to pass other legislation that furthers other goals that he has. On the national level he will push for the hero community to be restrained and held accountable for their actions and he will simultaneously work in the shadows to make a team of ‘reformed’ heroes to be his soldiers in enforcing his legislation. How it will play out remains to be seen, who he will go after first, or what he’s willing to do to get his way.

What is known is that everyone has a target on their back and no one will be immune to coming events. Where do you come from? Who will you be? Which side will you choose? As the world as you know it crumbles around you, what will you do to prevent everything that you know from falling off the edge? Or are you going to push it over the edge to usher in something new? Everyone has their own origin, how will yours change the world?
