Castle Robotnik
More of a fortress than a castle, this is the home to the overlord of Robotropolis, Robotnik, and the home to his many minions. Here you'll find the jail, his labratories and various other things of disrepute. Hope that you don't come here unwillingly, else you might not leave.

Shopping District
The heart of any city, you'll find many stalls and shops around here to pamper yourself or buy the essentials. Chilli dog stands aplenty are also found here. If you know where you're going, you'll even find a way to contact the Underground.

Upper Robotropolis
The richer citizens of Robotropolis live in this area, the only townspeople with enough money to keep some nature in the form of their grounds. Museums and art centres are also found in this area. The district is patrolled by many of Robotnik's robots, so keep your eyes open.

Downtown
Not quite as fancy as the upper district of Robotropolis, the people in this area can be thankful that they don't have it as bad as those stuck in the slums. It's pleasant, but there's no sign of natural life apart from the citizens. It's a bit dank, but at least patrols aren't as frequent in this area. Most of the residents are hard workers, but bills are still too high and everyone is struggling.

The Slums
The lowest of the low, those who are unable to work or simply don't have enough money find themselves seekng shelter in this district of Robotropolis. It's gotten worse, many people literally living underneath newspapers or under the dark skies of the city. It's filthy, filled with pests and no one goes there if they have the choice. Random citizens are arrested from this district every day simply for being there, so stay sharp, else you could be the next robot to leave the fortress.

The Sewers
Disgusting and filled to the brim with filth, the sewers are a very good way of getting round Robotropolis without being noticed by the patrols. You'd think Robotnik would send his minions down here, but there's no need - violent criminal gangs reside in the depths, and if you're caught by them, you might not see daylight again.

Headquarters
Hidden in an undisclosed location, somewhere in Robotropolis, this is where the many members of the Underground meet to discuss plans and sometimes even simply relax. There is a medical bay in case someone has been injured on a mission. Robotnik would kill to know where this is, but the Underground are very careful about who knows its location.

Sanctuary
Hidden somewhere outside of Robotropolis, this is the place badly injured members of the resistance are sent to recover and where families are looked after when they've been chased down by Robotnik. It's a safe haven and very peaceful, but even this bubble of safety has been affected by Robotnik's reign - the residents live in fear of discovery every single day. Hope still remains strong.

Port Mobius
Despite having patrols there permanently, Port Mobius is an almost exclusively Underground-run area of the world, and a great place to find out information. Known minions of Robotnik should watch their backs.

Tashistan
Controlled by Robotnik, Tashistan still has some degree of freedom that the citizens of Robotropolis can only dream of. The small contingent of resistance members grows by the day, but the city is mainly renowned for its spices and silks, remaining a centre of commerce and exotic products.

Lake Valley
A lovely resort, yet even this beautiful place hasn't been able to avoid Robotnik's grasp. Despite this, its far out location makes it a good hiding place for fugitives and the scenery is worth the trip. The locals are mostly friendly.

Angel Island
Also known as the Floating Island due to the fact it floats in the air high above the sea, Angel Island is the home to the Chaos Emerald and its protector, Knuckles. Approach with dishonest intent and you may find yourself leaving with your dignity in shreds.

Speedster Island
An island off the coast of the main continent, Speedster Island is the home to a lovely tribe who know and now fear the power of Robotnik. The locals are mostly friendly and very naive, and many have considered trying to turn it into a holiday resort. It is protected by the Underground.

Anez
Anez is a large city neighbouring Robotropolis, a centre of arts and all things fine or high culture. While it hasn't had quite the same treatment as Robotropolis has due to the sheer amount of wealth within its boundaries, it is held in a vice like grip by Robotnik's minions and is his secondary base. The Underground movement is strong here.
