Journals and PCs
This is where you'll keep a journal and a computer for each of your characters. You can keep them all in one thread or in a separate one for each character - it matters not, but you need to update it each time you get a Pokemon/finish a thread.

Stonehelm Village
This is the smallest permanent settlement in Aularia, as well as one of the oldest. The historic buildings are made of stone, and to keep everything looking relatively put-together and not just random, they've made all the new buildings look nearly the same. This is where you'll find Professor Willow's lab, which is the starting point for many young trainers eager to begin their adventures.

Route 001
Stonehelm is a very old settlement - there are roads that lead our of it, but at the same time, they're old roads. The forest grows thick and wild, and while this path is short and shouldn't take more than a day to travel, you're sure to meet a variety of new Pokemon. At the end of this route is a small inn - you can rest up there if you're tired. There is no Pokemon Center between routes 001 and 002.

Route 002
After you pass the Inn, the forest becomes much more tame as you approach the next city. There are still a large number of Pokemon here, but they're usually of a more... domesticated variety.

Aloran City
This is a city that popped up along the shores of one of Aularia's many lakes. There is no gym here, but this is where the adoption center is located, so if you feel that you're ready for another Pokemon to join your team and still have a Pokeball left, check it out. The lake does have a beach, which is popular among the trainers that stop here. There is also a mock-contest hall next door to the Pokemon Center, so if you want to see how you might do with your new team, don't be afraid to pop in and ask about it!

Route 003
After you leave Aloran City, you'll find yourself traveling the edge of the lake. The beginning of this incredibly long route is nice and scenic, with flowers and not much in the way of you finding where you're going. But once you hit the edge of the lake, the trees start vanishing and you'll find yourself in a canyon. That canyon is known as Rift Canyon, and is the largest natural canyon in the region. To get out of this canyon, you have to go through the caves... And needless to say, there are lots of caves. Try not to get lost. Countless others have before, and were never heard from again.

Canyon Town
You exit the caves to find yourself... still in the canyon?! Oh, wait, there's a town. It's small, and the three largest buildings by far are the Gym, the Pokemon Center, and the Market. The population of this town is kept small due to the harsh environment and the dust storms that blow in from the east - the next route you have to travel.

Route 004
Leaving Canyon Town, you can't help but notice that it's getting hot. Like, really hot. Soon enough, you find yourself in the desert. Like, sand as far as the eye can see, home to plenty of Fire-types, desert. Thankfully, the shortest path through the sands is marked with tall wooden poles on both sides. Stay in between those, and you should be fine.

Sandwind City
The desert ends so abruptly that you think you must be imagining it - no, this is the end of it. The sprawling city in front of you is quite literally a paradise, bordering the ocean. This is where the second gym is located.

Route 005
This route is paved - it's great, compared to the awful desert. There are homes scattered about, business that offer things like grooming and herbal remedies for travelers and their Pokemon. Staying on the actual path is likely to get you trainer matches, whereas the fields and forests is where you'd find more wild Pokemon.

Demofells City
This sprawling metropolis is by far the largest city in the region - buildings touch the sky with ease. This city is home to the third Gym, and it's suspected that Team Azazel has a headquarters in this massive city... somewhere.

Route 006
Leaving Demofells City, you find yourself climbing up. This mountainous terrain is a pain, for certain, but there are people that live every few miles, if you get lost. There are frequent blizzards when you get up high enough, so be warned. The top of this mountain is the highest point in the region, and though many people have been there, if you manage it on a clear day, it's still breathtaking.

Greenbriar Town
Once you get down the other side of the mountain, you find yourself in a quaint little town that's home to this region's grass/bug type gym. They... don't really have much else going for them.

Route 007
Upon leaving Greenbriar Town, you find yourself in the woods again. It's mostly flat, with pretty openings in the trees and a multitude of wild Pokemon. There's another lake along this route, which provides plenty of room to relax and take a day off.

Dark Water City
The home of the region's Water-type gym, Dark Water City is placed in the shade of a series of sheer cliffs. Waterfalls tumble over them constantly, so if you visit this town, you'll either need a dry set of clothing or a poncho.

Route 008
Keeping in the area of the waterfalls - that's right, you have to scale the cliffs, but once you get to the top, you just follow the river. There used to be a town up here, scattered around the river, but the inhabitants mysteriously vanished, leaving ghost Pokemon free to take over the buildings. Be wary.

Saishale City
Home to the region's Ghost/Dark type gym, Saishale City certainly fits the theme of the gym. It's almost always dark, and if you find yourself in an old, abandoned section of the city, you'll certainly find yourself in an area with Ghost type Pokemon. This is also the city that authorities believe that the Left Hand of Team Azazel's headquarters is in.

Route 009
After you leave Saishale, you'll notice that it starts to get windy. The trees make way for billowing fields of grains and magnificent views. It's nearly always windy here.

Ralom City
Also known as the Windy City, this beautiful place is the home of the Flying/Dragon type gym. The buildings here have mostly flat roofs - the people learned long ago that a strong gust of wind could knock away the best laid shingles.

Route 010
This path is hilly and wild, covered with wild flowers of all sorts. Careful where you step - there's no telling what's an Oddish and what's actually grass!

Blanestrom City
Home to the last of the eight gyms in Aularia, Blanestrom City is most well known for the fact that it's the best psychic training area in the world. Something in the air, they say, makes those who are born here or grow here a little more... 'sensitive' to the psychic realm.

Safari Zone
You can technically enter this massive natural park from several points in Aularia, but the official entrance is here, just outside of Blanestrom. For a minor fee of one hundred dollars, you can come in and (using only the safari balls you're given) catch Pokemon that are impossible to find anywhere else in the region.

Route 011
This particular path is rather rough - you'll find yourslef surrounded by craggy rocks and cliffs in no time. This area before the mountains is oddly inhabited by a large number of Pokemon.
