Arrow Point Bay is an original spy-fantasy RPG forum. A secluded and remote island, it is home to many gifted Specials as well as non-specials. Here, both kinds are trained at the College and recruited by the Agency to help Specials coexist with humans and protect them from The Alliance. Read more in the APB handbook!

Afternoons at the hospital were usually pretty busy, all the interns were here at that time as well as most hospital staff. The hallways were crowded with white lab coats and different colored scrubs. There could be two nurses to every patient and still they would be over-staffed. Maggie's interns had been so unneeded today that she had them all working on paperwork and the more technical stuff back in the staff lounge. She could have let them follow her around but honestly, they were getting on her last nerve and she welcomed her little time without them. Luckily, most of the staff was occupied in the emergency room, though Maggie didn't bad saying luckily since almost none of the cases were even close to being classified as an emergency. The Public Ward was Maggie's place of choice and as she walked in she was surprised at the amount of beds taken up. All fifty were completely full and it looked like all patients were being tended to. She gave a sigh as her eyes scanned the room, was she really going to have to resort to doing paperwork too?
Just as she was about to turn on her heels and head to the lounge, a man walked in and took a seat near the entrance. He didn't look very pleased to be here but most people didn't walk into the hospital with a smile plastered on their face. He was definitely older than Maggie but that didn't make him any less handsome. When he lifted his head, she caught a glimpse of his sharp blue eyes, probably the feature he got comments on the most. She walked over to the man with a polite smile on her face and took the seat next to him. "Hi there," she took notice of the dried blood on his hands and gave a sympathetic smile. Maggie may heal but she still knew what pain felt like. Luckily, it appeared the bleeding had stopped but that didn't mean he was in the clear. "How are your hands? Any pain?" She looked around the room once more and was happy to see one of the beds had been cleared and remade. "Why don't you follow me over here and we'll get you all fixed up." Maggie stood and placed a hand on his shoulder, trying not to notice that it was definitely all muscle. As he followed her over to the bed, she turned to him, remembering her manners. "I'm Maggie, by the way." She said with her usual bright smile as she gestured for him to take a seat on the bed.

Nikolas looked up at the same time a young intern or nurse, he couldn't really tell, happened to look at him as well. Instinctively, he flashed her a quick smile even though she was much too young for him. She blushed and scuttled off leaving him to chuckle to himself in her absence. He might be getting older, but that didn't mean he had lost his charm. Cricking his neck to each side, he waited for someone to come retrieve him and put him through the unnecessary torture. He glanced up at the clock and then looking down at his hands, he moved to wipe the blood onto his jeans when a woman sat down next to him. He immediately gripped his hands together to hide the blood from her eyes. "Hi there." Nikolas looked up at the vaguely familiar pretty young blonde who had sat down next to him. Maybe this trip wasn't so bad after all. She wore a similar uniform similar to the younger interns around, but there was no way she was an intern. "How are your hands? Any pain?" she asked him with a professional tone that solidified his guess. He shook his head like a good boy. There had only been the initial pain as the skin had started to peel away.
It had been years since he was last here. Not many people had the chance to get close enough to hurt him without getting a shock to the chest. If they tried to get him from a distance, well he had been lucky enough so far not to have been injured seriously. "Why don't you follow me over here and we'll get you all fixed up." He followed her quietly without any fuss. If he had gotten a male nurse, he would've demanded to be cleaned up and released back into the field. With her, he would cooperate. For now. "I'm Maggie, by the way." Maggie, what sweet name. He hopped on the bed as instructed and gave her the same smile he had given the young intern just earlier. "Nikolas." His Nordic accent was obviously heard and he made no attempt to hide it. He thought about saying something corny about her beauty, but instead he held his hands out for her to examine. "It's really not that bad. Can you just wash the blood off and send me back into the field to save pretty little misses like yourself?" Normally that would scream corny, but his suave attitude managed to pull it off well enough. A wink never hurt either.
