for a cool trick just run your mouse over the rules.

THE RULES
First of all, welcome to APTITUDE! We're glad you're here and can't wait to cause some destruction with you and your characters! With all that said and done we want to make sure you understand that this site is rated Mature due to the nature of things that may happen. We, Alex and Diggy, expect that you as a mature player understand this and keep your respect for fellow players at the best it can be. If you cannot respect others then you have no place here.

Secondly, have fun! thats what this is about right? We want you to have fun and just enjoy yourself.

We request that you have one account per character and register with their first and last name in proper capitalization. This is purely for asthetics and to keep things uniform and if you mess up we'll gladly fix it for you.

When you fill out the app in the history/info section we ask that you be the judge of what you think is decent enough. We just want to know enough about your character to understand how they got their abilities and why they've chosen the side they've chosen etc. If your character doesn't have abilities we still want to know about them too! Whats their stance on those with abilities etc?

When posting we follow the guidelines of quality over quantity. We're not saying you need to write a novel every time you post but give us something to work with. Don't give someone else the short end of the stick if they post something nice and you don't even attempt something as it's just plain rude. We don't want to see any one liners around here though they don't have any substance.

As we all know, with great power comes great responsibility. What we mean with this is that it is your to not abuse your power and to have one weakness as well. It's great if you have more but you must have one.

As of right now you may only have one power. In the future we may allow for more but starting out with one is what we have chosen.

No godmodding, killing, seriously harming, etc without the other players permission. The only way you can be seriously harmed or killed in such a way is through the Hand of God. The Hand of God is a divine intervention of sort and it isn’t always kind of those it graces it’s presence on. There is no way to stop something if it has been foretold by this account and we would love to see you play it out. This helps keep things interesting.

When it comes to bolded powers on the ability list that just means those are considered powers we are keeping an eye on to make sure that you use a good enough weakness. They’re just powers that can be considered overpowered if they’re not carefully used.

With graphics we kindly ask you to not stretch the board. Use your judgement on your signatures and thread codes but avatars are limited to 150x300 pixels.
