The friend said to him that he wants Kou to talk to *her* (the mysterious friend of him) because Kou is closer to her than anyone. Kou said to him that that those guys should call her too but they just don't know what to talk about.

Conclusion: the girl is sick or depressed? She needs encouragements.

Btw, just realize something. Before Kou said he wouldnt want to bet attached right? But now that he brought the kitty home, it could mean that hes ready to open up his heart once again, even if it might hurt him in the end.

His classmate saw Kou's texting, so he asks him if it's for his girlfriend. Kou denied.
And then he asks Kou if he's going out, if he likes someone atm. Of course, kou doesn't says much about it. and then he gets mad when they guy starts to be annoying (and partially because of GG's move HAHAHA).

Kominato comes and says that Kou is really childish (naive) and he can gets shy when they are having this kind of conversation.

And Kominato tells the classmate: "The girl I like is-" and the classmate said that even if he doesn't say it, everyone knows who it is. XD

Kominato asks Kou what's going on because Kou isn't the type of person who will behave like that. Usually, he can get away from this kind of conversation easily. He said that if Kou has anything he want to talk about, he can talk to him. And Kou thanks him.

I think that guy is just guessing, and how cute, Kou is jealous, who woulndt, seeing how chummy she is with touma, and that hes not special anymore since futaba can talk with guys now.

Yeah, touma is def not the timid kind, his courting technique is prettyy good. But somehow hes not an annoying rival, since hes so cute with all the blushing. Kou is being too tsundere for his own good, sigh. Maybe one day he wont be anle to control himself anymore and will just smooch futaba. Seriously, i cant wait, i have withdrawal syntom already. Since he liked her before, kou isnt the type that doesnt know what love feels like. Perhaps hes like Futaba, not sure if he likes the current futaba. They both changed afterall. Maybe its now Kous turn to realize he loves the current Futaba aswell. But uts hard to read him since he gives very mixed signals, i cant tell since when he fell for Futaba again, or did he already when they met again because he did go out of his way to make Futaba remember him...would you just do that just for a friend? So yeah i think in this case, Kou is surprised by how much he likes her,
probably more than before.

Yeah yeah and laughing that distantly and then going for his cellphone with that stupid fake smile is so annoying :/

Hm... But I think there are a lot of other ways to react, you know. He could have ignored the cell phone (THAT WOULD BE THE BEST, YEAH), or Futaba could have stopped standing there like a dumb and say something. Something like "Again" or "At this moment?" or... Ok, I know, it's too much for her.
But... But... But... Ah, c'mon! I wouldn't laugh. I think. And if it's just a simple laugh, Futaba should go along with him and laugh too. That would make sense with your sugestion, it would make the whole scene funny and cute. But no! There was just him laughing and... Aaaaaargh, sorry, I'm annoyed

I get your point, i really like those emotional moments of hers but i dont know how to tell but from that last scene i also kinda get something realistic but i cant put it in words and that makes me like this manga all the more, all the actions are,be it annoying ( like kous ridicolus smile) or lovely,they feel realistic if i can tell what i mean x)
