nice going! your application has been sorted and stored for future use, and is safely tucked away. for those of you who are paranoid of people stealing, this board is not available for guests' eyes.

there are several mandatory claims, so this should pretty much be your first stop after being accepted. this helps giving a bit of a personal feel to not only your character, but also helping members get to know you.

it is highly recommended for people to post here once they are accepted. this will help spread the word about your character, as well as set up some juicy plot lines.

everybody loves upgrades! here at a different story, we use a points system based on posts, advertising, and just being friendly. you can buy anything from a variety of items to attacks, even a alliance change! it's pretty easy to earn points, so check this place out often!

for those living in haven, they enjoy the life of luxury. large mansions and even palaces dot the landscape, on huge acres. homes are lavishly furnished and are equipped with state of the art appliances and servants.

around haven, the restaurants are posh and expensive. almost all are at least four stars, and they house the yummiest food known to man. in order to dine here, it's best that you're famous or that you've made a reservation... and that you have some dough.

located here are two of the finest schools for several miles; haven academy and the university of new republic. both are incredibly prestigious, not to mention expensive. the people that come here are generally well-off, or on scholarship. they go on to earn the finest jobs in the world.

pristine parks, beautifully-well kept lakes, the likes. also located here are several memorials to the lives lost in the war. there are police constantly patrolling haven's parks, and people who look like they could cause trouble are instantly arrested and sent to jail. people who don't belong... stay out.

in republica, families live in not-so-lavish-but-cozy homes and apartments. while not as lavish as haven's homes, republica's homes are comfortable and very function oriented.

the only hospital in new republic, quebec memorial hospital is always crowded. despite their location, they don state-of-the-art technology, considering that residents from haven come here while ill. a bit of an imposing, boxy-figure, it retains it's sickly, hospital feel.

while not as lavish as haven's, the restaurants in republica are family-friendly and not as expensive. pizza parlors, chinese restaurants, etc. are the norm around here, and don't require you to break your wallet.

located here in republica is the new republic public school chain. consisting of four schools, this is where most average, normal people go for their education. the first school is preliminary, consisting of grades one to sixth. the second is a junior high, with grades seven to eight. the third is high school, with grades nine to twelve. the final is new republic community college, which is basically a finishing school.

omni homes are generally small, cramped, and ugly. the "homes" --- usually just apartments --- consists of about three rooms; the kitchen, bathroom, and a bedroom. despite the small space, omni families are generally the largest, causing infestations and diseases to float about the cramped apartments.

fast food and sleazy bars. expect your meals to cost around ten bucks, at the highest. people come here when they're just passing through omni, and most of the time, they just eat at home.

new republic correctional facility is just what it sounds like; a juvie. children with issues go here, along with most omni family children. the curriculum level is extremely low, resulting in low output from the students.

a place to just hang out and relax. meet other members, post polls, stuff like that.
