England One of the three countries that the Titanic stopped at to pick up passengers,
England was home to plenty of the first class men and women travelling.
Southampton was Titanic’s first stop.

France The French have a claim to fame too – the Titanic stopped second at Cherbourg.
The ship was an a hour late, because of trouble it had in Southampton at port.

Ireland The vast majority of Titanic’s third class passengers were from Ireland. The Titanic’s
third and final stop here was in Queenstown. The ship itself was built in the city
of Belfast.

Other There are plenty of other places in the world for you to travel from. Egypt,
Spain, Italy, to name a few. If you aren’t one of the more common three on

cabins. Whether you’ve purchased the best there is to offer or the bare
minimum, you will not fail to be impressed by the elegance and
luxury that make the Titanic what it is. Comfortable and classy,
you’ll sleep well.

the ship’s dining hall gets transformed into a chapel for the

promenade deck. Clean, open and free of clutter, the first class promenade is the
ideal place to take a little stroll and unwind or think. There are
deck chairs for a small fee, and the deck staff are always happy
to assist.

grand staircase. One of the Titanic’s greatest marvels, the Grand Staircase is a
sight to behold. It bridges several decks and allows first class
passengers to travel between the decks in splendour.

reading and writing room. Used as a sort of haven for the women on board the Titanic,
men are rarely in sight and if so, rarely by their own desire.
One can read some of Titanic’s select library, or pen letters
to friends and family.

plants and towering trellises. If one is looking for some
refreshments, the waiters here at the cafe would be happy
to help you.

smoking room. The smoking room is for men only and is home to frank
discussion about business, stocks, politics and perhaps, sometimes,
less ‘noble’ conversation. Don’t forget the brandy!

a step up from third. They’re tasteful and light, clean and comfortable.

dining hall. The second class dining hall isn’t quite as grand as the first class hall
but the food is excellently prepared and the tables beautifully set. It’s
tasteful and not so flamboyant as first class.

uncluttered and a great place for socializing and spending some time
to one’s self as well.

the company of the women and children for a little while – almost
always after diner, though the smoking room is open all day.

but they do the job nice enough. Typically third class passengers
would share their cabins with others they may or may
not know.

quite big and separated into two sections by a portioning wall
that runs down the middle.

also a lot of space taken up by ropes and other things that
would be unseemly to have on a first class deck.

there is plenty of space, and there are benches and tables
