Welcome to Bellfield, Ontario. We're a small town outside of Toronto that for the most part has flown under the radar of the province's government. Unfortunately that hasn't worked out very well for us; rather than flourishing and living up to the beautiful image Canada--and Ontario especially--wants to portray, we've wound up succumbing to decay. Recently though, the province has finally taken notice of our not-so-gradual collapse and has started bringing people in to turn things around--everyone from a new mayor to better teachers for our schools. Some people have faith that this will renew the city, but most of the established residents are skeptical.

Maggie has two layers. The outer exterior: a very thin front that Maggie puts on, she acts tough and even mean but it can be very easily cracked by even the slightest kindness. The soft interior: her core is a fun-loving girl that attaches to people very quickly.
The outer layer was formed over years of abandonment issues developed by bouncing from foster home to foster home. Maggie believes that if she acts tough, danger will leave her alone. If she rejects others first, how can they reject her?
Despite her belief that she's one big badass, Maggie is extremely vulnerable. She can be easily tricked into things and is very dependent on people.
Maggie's parents were killed by a murderer that is tracking her down to finish the job. (For more information go look at her application.) For now, she is very skeptical of people.
As for plotting, I'd like a mix of people that want to help Maggie or keep her out of trouble, and people that want to get her mixed up in it

Maggie definitely doesn't go out of her way to anger others. But once she feels betrayed, it's difficult to get back on her good side.

With her soft center, Maggie would get very attached to a significant other. Her taste in dates isn't always the best, though. Since she is easily manipulable, someone not so nice could easy rock her world! In the right hands, though, Maggie will be extremely loving and caring.
