taylor lynn ambrose was born in asheville north carolina with her grandmother nadine . her mother simone was never really one who cared and her father stefan was always out looking for the next hit . when her grandmother passed away , taylor was seven and grief stricken . she went with her cousin andrea , who was in a relationship with a woman named pauline warden ; pauline had four kids of her own , though only one still lived with her ; she was taylor's age . she grew up with andrea and pauline , though andrea proved to be like taylor's father , and was arrested shortly after . pauline took legal custody of taylor , showing favoritism for her own daughter far over taylor . taylor became a hermit , pretty much living for herself and ignoring her adoptive parent and siblings . she got into art and music and it's what kept her alive in her high school years . she attended ashbrook high school as a happy freshman ; in her freshman year of high school she had an identity crisis and decided to change her name . she got it legally changed while her aunt was out of town on a business trip , making sure that she didn't find out . she combined her middle name and first name, giving herself the middle name inspired by music . she lived in peace and happiness , writing and practicing her choral music through her high school years . she graduated as salutatorian . because of her all advanced placement classes , she took a year off before college . at nineteen she ventured to the small town of masonville , north carolina to attend eastern point university . she majors in choral music education at the high school level and runs a bookstore in the city . she lives alone in an apartment near the edge of the town , and enjoys the aloneness she could never get when in her younger years . they say high school is the best four years of your life ; they lied , it's college .

taylyn was always faced with issues growing up so this made her quite resiliant . she takes things well and usually gets paranoid if you "have something to tell her ." seeing as she was nearly the smartest in her class at ashbrook , she is always known as the smart alec in her group of friends , making all the witty comments and funny , mean and brutally honest remarks . she's a sweetheart , however , if you're on her good side . she's a hopeless romantic that never really gets looked at . she's kinda antisocial but if you can see past that barrier , you've got a friend for life .
