march 30th 2012 there have been two updates added to the rules. a rating and more detail about character plot creativity. go check it out! april 1st 2012 this is no april fools joke! music in my bones is now officially open! all the boards and posts have been completed and advertising has begun. welcome new members and i hope to see this site thrive for a long long time! april 6th 2012 there has been a lack of activity lately. it is really disappointing that some of you have not been on since you joined! there are a few ways laska would like to see you all get more active. read more. april 7th 2012 after noticing that there are a lot of the same kind of characters, laska has addressed the member and guest body about creativity in characters an a particular ban/regulation. also, a new board has been added for you're use. read more.

an all new real life college town role play set in north carolina. mimb has a word count of 200 words, but we are very flexible and will pretty much accept all skill levels. we don't have a mandatory application, although we do have a registration form and optional character biography. please, take a look around and register with a first middle last in all lower case. don't be shy either. if you have any questions, ask in the cbox, we don't bite, promise!

why you no show?
hey everyone! i'd like to start off saying that i am glad you all joined so close to the opening day! it is very exciting for me to see this site growing! that said, you guys really need to keep up the activity. i understand you can't be online all the time, but a bunch of you haven't been on since you joined and that is just horrible. get online! get plots going!
for the first few months of the site's life, i will be willing to send email reminders if that is necessary to keep this site active. if you know you are not going to be on for a while, let me know! i don't care if you have real life stuff, if you don't tell me you are going to be gone i'll get real pissed! and you don't want to see a pissed laska!
along with posting, logging on and plotting, there is the cbox. it isn't required, but if you are doing nothing and just staring blankly at the homepage, then chat it up in the cbox! that is why it's there! don't be shy, say hi! (ha, i rhymed). get to know the other members, and don't be afraid to post in the "introduce yourself!" thread in the chat board, it's there for you to learn about each other.
that brings up yet another point, the chat board! like i said, it's there for you to talk and post! if you aren't doing anything, waiting for someone to reply to a thread or get online, go post there whether it be a game or talking about various real life things. it's there for your enjoyment.
i guess what i am really trying to say in all of this is that you can't just ditch the site right after joining, or ever! get to know each other, get some plots going, talk to each other off the site if you want. there shouldn't be any reason for you not to be on for weeks at a time, or leave people hanging. let's get active guys!

now just because there are a few members that i am not happy with for not being online doesn't mean i am angry at you all. believe me when i say i love all of you members. i encourage those of you who do come online and post to keep doing it, and try to get the less active members involved.
